Another Car Won't Start

I was driving the car this morning and it was perfectly fine. I went to remove my front bumper to try install my HID fogs, but while removing the bumper I heard a noise from the battery.

Stopped what I was doing and put the bumper back on. I tried starting the car and nothing happened. There wasn't any clicking noise or anything.

Is it a safety issue? Any ideas will help

On a side note my HFL broke about 3 weeks ago and I know their is a connection with the HFL "booting up" draining the battery.

Found out the battery just shit the bed so I need to get another one.

Is there a noticeable difference between the $100 Duralast Gold and the $200 Optima?

You'll be fine with the $100 option and if you haven't already, disconnect the HFL or replace if it's draining the battery.

I went with the Duralast to save $$$ so I can waste it on this stupid broken HFL

Does anyone know if this is covered under warranty? If not is this the only part I need?

It's covered in the bumper to bumper 4 year/50k warranty or Acura Care.

Yeah, that's it. Make sure it's the right color as well. You could swap the control unit over if you want though if you find that one color is cheaper than the other. You just won't get a new cover.

Well its an 07 and just hit over 50k so no luck for me.

About the colors. I have the option of either Graphite Black or Grey so here comes the noob question. How do I know which color to pick? What am I basing my choice on?

Holy thread revival batman.

Car wont start again. 1st time since I fixed the hfl years ago. Car doesnt make a single sound when trying to start. Started up fine this morning and again at lunch time. Keyless entry still locks/unlocks and all the lights inside still turn on

If you cant see the video let me know. Apologies for the dark lighting, its the start of winter in new england not much I can do about it

For all my fans out there we found the issue!

We cleaned off the corrosion around the battery terminals. Started it up good as new

funny how my car has been sitting in my driveway for almost 2 months and I was able to start it the other night without a problem.

Hopefully she'll be back on the road in Jan/Feb of 16.
