Angry Airbag light reset...is this at all possible to DIY?

Unplugged my seats and lo, the goddamn light is on, and I sooo don't want to have to pay a dealer $100+ just to hit a few damn buttons.

I didn't see anything in the garage, anyone have any luck with this?

you would need a srs scanner, which is something similar to the obd II scanner which could reset it for you. Have you tried to pull the negative off of the battery, which will reset all the systems. Hope that helps. Good Luck

^ Ask Efrain, those are his seats right? I don't think he was able to get that light off since they're 2007 seats and a sensor doesn't match up with the earlier years. I remember him mentioning something about a bypass? idk...PM him, he may have an answer for you.

Yeah, the same. IIRC, the 2007/06 seats are the same, he had to change the harnesses to get them to fit in his car (2004, was it?), but mine were PnP.

Arrrrgggghhhhh

I'd call some indie shops to get a quote on how much they'll charge to clear it for you. Other than that, make sure you unplug the battery before messing with srs harnesses next time..

..or take out the srs light and replace it with a blue led so it meshes with the background.

lol!

FYI: ALLOW THE SYSTEM TO FULLY DISCHARGE BEFORE PLAYING WITH SRS CRAP. Come to think of it, it was fully disconnected...just not discharged.
