Air bag light on

Air bag light on

Hey guys seeing if anyone knows why i would have airbag light on after swapping 06 base seats with my 08 base seat to change interior color from tan to black. Any help will be thankful.

Because the air bags connector are different, no?

Not sure if there's a SRS reset procedure you can do yourself, otherwise the dealership can do it for you. Did you unplug the battery before swapping the seats?

I did the reset and yes battery disconnected during swap. Also my DTC reader is giving me no codes but light is on

ODBII readers don't catch the SRS codes AFAIK.

Use compressed air to clean your seatbelt buckle. You can test this by checking whether your airbag light comes on immediately after you unbuckle or buckle your seatbelt. This is covered by a Acura lifetime warranty.
