Hello, transmission was running smoothly and then out of nowhere the transmission will not engage in reverse or drive. Its stuck on the side of the road, only engine running. No check engine light, D-Light not blinking.

What could be the problem?

Has the transmission been serviced lately?
Have you checked the fluid level?
Maybe gamble on placing the car in Park or Neutral, turn off the engine for five-fifteen minutes. Try and restart car and get on the road to get home.

I was doing a 3x3 change.

It was shifting perfectly, then nothing.

I'm thinking the torque converter or the drive shaft.

Its not moving in reverse, or drive.

Could be drive shaft, did you look underneath the car? It's usually pretty obvious when they break.

Did you hear any noises when it stopped accelerating?

Could be a snapped axle.

There was no noises when it stopped accelerating or any odd noises coming before and after this happened.

Now when I put it in reverse or drive and it the engine will just rev and the car will not move.

Will can roll if you put it in park? Do you have any fluid in the transmission?

Transmission fluid is full. I just had it towed by AAA to a local shop.

Based on what you said, I'm really thinking its an axle. Usually when the transmission goes you have some sort of drive or reserve.

Had a new transmission put it. The gears are shifting hard at times. What do i need to do to fix this?

Find out if the transmission shop used Honda AT fluid:

If they did not, then you may want to perform a DW-1 3X3 and see if that helps?
Otherwise, since you paid that price for a 'reman' tranny, it should be good.
