06 base TL taking longer to start this morning

06 base TL taking longer to start this morning

Hi everyone,
this morning when i turned on the ignition it took longer ts start the car. sounded like it was struggling. any advise before taking it to the dealship? thank

take it to the dealership, it will 99.9% of the time be the battery and hopefully they will replace for free. i have killed like 3 in the 2+ yrs i have owned mine

I agree with you blkaspec i also encountered the same problem with the batteries i had,dealer replaced for free

happened to my 05 before the battery almost die, you can test the battery even without a multimeter, i turned the key to accessories and tried to slide the moon roof, it was dead slow and doom light was dimming.

Just one quick blurb.. Somewhere in the manual [cannot find it], it explains that sometimes the engine can take longer to start because the vehicle is attempting to minimize emissions or some fancy trickery of keeping its ULEV rating

at dealship now. they are repalcing the battery for free. the battery was already repalced on 11/07.

running like new now. do acura batteries last only 1.5 year? 2 batteries in 3 years lol. the car was paid in full....

mine shat itself in 1 year. I chuckled when I saw the "96 Month" rating on it. Probably under rated for the amount of accessory power this car has bleeding it.
