Rex isn't street legal because of lights and safety equipment though, right? Not because the weight?

Rex's car is SICK and its track only...no headlights, no wipers, no safety equipment, SRS sytem (shit I have deleted my SRS system as well )
but yeah, am not sure how his car will do on the track because of the suspension, tires, etc....
Makes sense...I have been working on something similar...I should be able to post it in my thread in the next few weeks

I took out my spare tire and cover on top of it, just using the all season one
Austin you should at least feel the difference between full tank and almost empty tank
How the car pulls..
After one point you are like, fawk I want more more lightweight haha
I am not doing something big like swoosh but
removing 3rd muff + having shorter resonator + removing the damper in the trunk + will remove the front bumper one as well + removing the stock intake + engine insulation cover thingy + spare tire
makes you happy and you know mans, they want more
That's like 70 pounds right swoosh

hey 70lbs is a start
then you will think about removing the rear seat and all the dampening....
ONE major thing which a lot of dieters have to realize is that the AT comes with a weight distro of 60F 40R....so most of the weight is up front....by removing weight from the trunk, you will get quicker straight line speed but you will ruin the handling....
I suggest keep reducing weight from the front and the rear....try to be close to the 60f 40r which comes from the factory....
my dream is 55f 45r ....traction for FWD and will handle like a charm

I can feel the difference for sure, but not enough to make me want to strip the car.

No I didn't take out the fenders, because I didn't want to remove the A-Spec
You just move the A-Spec lip from the sides. Requires some force because the double sided tape is pretty strong.
If the oem double sided tape loses its stickiness, just put new mounting tape in there
If you read this thread, you'll know what to do:
https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/g-031-diy-accord-foglight-mod-without-removing-spec-bumper-717204/
I meant to post that in your "inspire fogs" thread.
Removing the grill is a must to having a clean install.
Cheers!
I've done this too many times.

Thanks GP, I new that but meh.. I have removing the tapes or putting in new ones. Never becomes good as how it was first anyways it's done, just have to remove and add some screws + JB weld there.

Funny, people usually replace the OEM tape with 3M automotive mounting tape eventually anyway. Supposedly stronger than the OEM stuff.
swoosh's method would work, but make sure you lay down tape all along the A-Spec lip as so it doesn't scratch the paint on your lip when you try to take it out.

That's a negative ghostwriter LOL. It was an epic fail that was pretty much all my own damn fault, i feel so bad. I've been trying to read up on how to fix but nothing. I am going to try 3m adhesive remover but i heard that could ruin the paint so i didn't want to, incase that ended up not working and made it even worse haha
