Wow those fogs look great! Your car has come a long way, Austin. If I lived closer to you two, I'd be broke.

Yes indeed! I wouldn't have quite a few things or maybe I would but they'd turn out like if I didn't have J.

Alyy, I've never done a video of my exhaust. All I've got is a J-pipe and a Throttle Body Spacer. So no big deal.

I thought my entire Garage photo's were up there. Here is the link to my PhotoBucket page for you.....

Austin, your car looks amazing...great work. You're lucky to have J within a close proximity of you. Two of the best NBP TL's on AZ right there in the only state shaped like a perfectly flaccid peen.

Austin, this is turning into "OUR" Thread...can't get much :ghey:er than that! It's all good, btw...you did a lot more of the work this time around, so I'm pretty proud of you.

John, that would explain all the humidity since I'm so close to the tip, huh?!! Dat after dribble...

Thanks Aaron...I have no shame in admitting, I'm seriously considering it. They sit so flush and pretty in the grills that they really do look more oem and less awkwardly angled than the accord ones.

Looks nice guys! Definitely well done. I like them a lot more than the accord fogs. How does the switch look inside the car?

The Switch looks fine...not OEM, but it gets the job done and fits in stock location without getting stuck.

Austin, if they have to try that hard to find something to pick on, you're doing it right.

I'd like to see the cutoff too, but honestly, I've gotten used to the glare from the accord fogs...I too love how it looks.

Last night when I was driving down my street, I turned them on and off a few times to see the difference. The Inspires light up a lot, and it scatters the light. I noticed street signs and some trees lighting up not so much that it was shining on them but the glow from bouncing off of the white sand on the road. I'll definitely try to take pics tonight.

I was specifically looking for where the glare would be since I had that issue with the accord fogs...
I didn't find yours to be bad at all...they were pointed down pretty well. That's also why I was kinda squatting down to see at what level the glare would hit my eyes and it was pretty low...

you'll see what I mean, even in full daylight...turn on the lows and fogs...then stand like 25 feet in front of your car...start going down (that's what he said ) and see where you see the bright light...make sure you see the glare from the lows first and then the fogs...

Either way, these fogs are pretty fixed even if you did the have the adjustment screw ability, it was sitting in the housing and only had a few MM of spacing to adjust...meaning, it's for fine tuning, not for totally pointing the fogs downward any more.

Either way, I've learned that when installing something that doesn't belong on the car from factory, there are some tradeoffs. If you have a little upper glare that crosses the cutoff, it's worth the look of how nice these look. Also, another reason why I never picked the yellow for the fogs...I never wanted to be able to discern which was cutting which line off, with a perfect match HID kit...it's just bright, period.

ehh...after i see close ups like that, you def need to go back in there and either add some weatherstripping or something to make it look more OEMish.

nonetheless, i love the mod and you guys did a great job.

Quick question if u don't mind.
I had a hard time telling which wires were which when I was cutting for the fogs. It looks like I have the same fog light set up as you.
I see the diagram now, did u install the fogs independently? I tried following the other DIY but my wires were like yours and I quit after that lol.
I also bought a OEM accord fog light switch because the after market wouldn't sit flush, would that be a problem trying to connect the inspire fogs with the OEM switch? Do I have to buy accord fog light wires?
I'm trying to get it independent with just the OEM switch. I have the same wires in the picture posted. Also I have a hid kit for the fogs I want to install also.
Last question, I believe by the pic u installed the fogs into the lower grille. Do you happen to have a pic of the grille before inserting the fogs? You didn't cut like half of the grille right you actually made the fog fit in the lower grille part that comes out?
Thank you. Car is looking hella sexy! Both of those TLs! Keep it up love to see the updates. Wish I checked back with your thread before I gave up on the fogs.

As far as wiring goes, I explained it as clearly as I could with the diagram, I'm not sure how else to explain that one.

As for your switch, the OEM may have the same plug (but I doubt it), if not, and it ends up having prongs on the back...you'll have to cut off the green connector and figure out which wire does what.

HID's are simple too, the ballast plugs in to the connectors I labeled "bulbs", and from the ballast, the HID bulb.

I don't have any pics of the grille cut, but MEKO does, check his thread on the main 3G section, it's name is simply "Inspire Fogs". He has very detailed pictures which should help you get an idea.

You are correct in how they fit, those lower grilles pop out and you cut the insides of it, do not cut the outer frame of them. The Inspires are a perfect fit for the lower grilles.

J secured my fogs with long screws and zip ties.

Many questions...my head just exploded.

Austin, for posting such close up high res images of my cutting job!
If the weatherstripping Aaron's alluding to is the one they used on Dave's...thanks no, that on the wire grill was what I thought looked a little off since it looks like it's trying to create an illusion of a perfect line but it's not.

You can't see the cuts from head on, only from the side. As of now, I'm happy with them.

don't get all butt hurt now.

you both did a GREAT job, don't think otherwise. i'm just saying that i'm sure that there is something you all can use to cover up those gaps/weak spots so that it doesn't look like you just crammed some aftermarket fogs in the bumper.

as i said, it looks awesome and i'm mildly jealous...but we can ALL improve on mods we do. just a suggestion.

The fogs look effing great, you guys killed it! There's nothing wrong with adding just a little to enhance the mod even more

Don't forget, Austin came and visited me last weekend, so if anyone is butthurt, it's him.

I'm not annoyed at all...I'm glad he's happy, if he can do some mild touchups to hide and make more professional...go for it!

I may learn a thing or two depending on whether or not I go and swap mine too. As of yet, no response from the company that sells these.
