Probably pushed in the top clips first, then pushed it forward to clear the bumper opening, then undid the bottom clips and slid it out.

I'm not too sure, but I've always partially removed the A-Spec to prevent scratches.

Yeah you're right, it's impossible to scratch the bumper.

Not the same can be said about the lip.

Ok that's exactly what I did too, but the bottom of the grille, the thick line sits right in front of the A-Spec.

I guess had to force it a little bit more

I think they purposely started late so they could have a slumber party. They will be up all night talking boys and pillow fighting in their underwear. :gheyfight:

Ya'll know us all too well.

I'll be uploading pics soon! I stayed at the girlyfriend's house (I'll let you decide who that is) and I'm here still.

I'll be going home soon, and will edit the pictures I have.

Cool Inspire fog lights added! 4/6/13

Here is the update many of you have been waiting for, sorry I couldn't get to it sooner but I needed help with these, no way I could do it alone. Thanks to J, I have them installed!

Okay...this one...I have to explain...the HORN DOES need to be relocated. J is holding the bracket for both horns (one is the beeper and the other is the horn).

And this is where we moved them to...

Here is the wiring, tied up along with the HID ballast (this is next to where your intake would sit).

Overall, I'm REALLY happy with them. The fitment looks OEM, the shape matches the headlights very nicely.

The great thing about these...all you have to do is cut the grilles and a small portion of the backside of the bumper. J said they were easy to cut and he pretty much nailed the fitment on the first shot.

It took us all of 3 hours to cut, install, and run wiring. It was minimal work for such an install, and they look amazing! I couldn't be happier!

I have them wired so I have full control over them, today I used them as sort of a DRL.

The output is pretty good and being that they are mounted in the grille, they are aimed almost identically. On the way home I noticed they light up road signs very well and give off a lot of light to the side of the car. I'll try to get night pictures soon, but I got home at like 1:30 last night and it was too late to snap any pictures.

For anyone wanting specs: They are the Inspire fog lights (purchasable on eBay or jdmautolights.com) and my HID's are from HIDEXTRA.com - 6000k with the slim ballast.

Thanks again, Jeremy, you're welcome to take any pictures and post them in your thread, if you want, just quote the whole post and copy it to your thread.

Also a shout-out to GuitarPlayer16, MEKO and BadA$$ VTEC! Thanks so much, guys!

Looks great man and I agree, these are much easier to install than the OEM accord fogs. I notice you have that small gap to the side of the lights like I had when I first installed them. It bugged the shit out of me so I tore everything down yesterday and got em flush.

Looks awesome Austin! If my car didn't already come with fogs I would install these ones for sure. They flow so well with everything. I'm interested to see some night pics of these to see how they look.

Great job on the install as well J!

Sorry swoosh! Shoutout to him as well, everyone! I had PM'd him during the install.

Thanks guys!

EDIT: And Anil, that means a lot. J has always told me he likes mine better but idk...his is for sure a forum favorite. I think being newer and younger has a little bit to do with me being a little behind.

Thanks you boys...and I'm proud to say that the actual install work shifted from about 98% me/2% Austin to more like a 70/30 split...the boy is growing up right before my eyes :tear:

I love how they look very much too...I had a blunder that needs attention on my fogs where I got fogginess in them due to painting the glare shield...this install, the fact that I already have another set of uncut grills and it would be as much work outfitting the inspires than it would be fixing the accords. I might fix them up and post on the BM...custom painted NBP with lexan lenses and already cut/trimmed bezels and grills have to be a hot ticket item.

Dennis, there is no gap. jump off a bridge g'dammit.
Just kidding but I would like to see what you're talking about...with the way the bumper tapers off in the grill area, I didn't see how I could install it any MORE flush if I tried to squeeze further into the corner.

Chip and Anil...thank you fellas...I don't blame you guys...his car is looking much better than mine. More crisp, better contrast with the rims, fresher paint...I don't mind admitting it. My girl is showing her age.

Autism...thank you so much for posting, man...your shots came out great!

Great install, great pictures guys!

I'm going to start recommend these inspire fogs to local members wanting to get lower fogs done.

The inspire fogs match the headlights very well and gives off a clean, but aggressive look (JDM OEM look), whereas accord fogs give off a clean, while still looking USDM OEM.

Just for future references if I install these for people: was my wiring diagram right or was it wrong and did you change anything?

Cheers

Well done guys.

I was going to ask what GP asked as well.
Info on the wiring Austin?

And from the pictures + what J. said, that's exactly how I installed mine too.
I wonder what Dennis did... post pictures to Inspire thread dude.

Awesome shots Austin.
Ok both cars look great but to me Austin's TL is a Mr. Clean, J.'s TL is the Mr.Badasss that doesn't look stockiesss

Your wiring diagram helped a lot! I ended up wiring them independently and leaving my upper fogs alone.

Why separate red wire to the yellow one? Because it was short?

Independent is the best way to go =)

The only thing I would do is to make sure you switch your fogs OFF every time you leave your car, because each time you start up your car again, your HIDs would go on, putting strain on electrical system, etc.

Looks like my wiring diagram is spot on as to what wire goes where =)
Glad you found it helpful.

Yes, it has to go all the way through the firewall.

I don't know why it's not, but that red "extension" wire that connects the two yellow wires should be coloured yellow!

It would be so much easier for people.

You guessed it, MEKO. The yellow is very short. For the way I wired it, the red was used as an extension. If I wired them to the low beams, probably could have done it differently.

Thanks for the compliments, everyone! Matching NBP's the best, Jeff.

Posting pics in the inspire thread now, don't want to clutter Austin's thread.
