my double door garage??

It is my back garage shop. The garage attached to house is for washer/dryer and spare fridge and deep freeze and our extra kitchen pantries. (got 5 kids lol)
The double car door is on the alley side and that single door (opened) one goes into back yard for washing or putting an extra car in yard out of street.

Its nice to wash outside then back into shade for drying / waxing.

But if you want to move to New Mexico the house will be for sale when I move lol.

Well not so much. Since the TL got lowered it hits pretty hard if I were to drive into the backyard. So that got squashed. My dad kept his 07 mustang gt convertible in there before they moved to Florida and I took over the house.

But yeah if it had electricity other than a extension cord coming from the house it would be the perfect shop. There is another 15 or so feet of storage space off to the right with a walk in door.

LOL I will take a pic of the shop tomorrow for you.

Here you go Trip:

Ok back to the car.
Will have to go back and redo fogs but should be able to swap those from underneath next time. Hope so because I mounted ballasts to stay this time.

fog ballasts:

Back together for now:

Enjoy will get some day time shots of the grille tomorrow. Will most likely pull bumper off later and do lower honeycombs off to spray those to match.

We're comparing apples to oranges here, but I'm pretty sure those are more-or-less pretty accurate analogies. AMG, M-Series and Type-S are all fancy trim levels with a common base model.
Type S is better compared with AMG and M packages on base BMW and Merc cars, nowhere near M or AMG divisions of each respective company.

07tl- yeah I am trying to source 3000 K bulbs for the fogs. The 8k's and yellow overlays are not green but not the deeper yellow I would like.

Downfall is that they are AMP ballasts (did some research last night) and found its and H8 bulb.

Now finding a H8 AMP style bulb in 3k is a little difficult. I may have to get the AMP to D2S adapter found on http://www.theretrofitsource.com but finding a 3k bulb in D2S is just as hard.

By hard to find I mean from a reputable source recommended by members in other threads.
Also I want to find a male and female connector because I would like to repin the factory one and make that a not stick pin in and electrical tape the shit out of it connection.

Even searching and doing homework. When it comes to modding stuff it seems I always have the luck of having to find an "alternate" method or "go against the grain"

Guess if it wasn't for bad luck I wouldn't have any.

Bet it was plug and play huh?? Right on will check them out. Worst case scenario is 15.00 for a conversion harness from AMP ballast to D2S bulb.

I do, I just leave it on all of the time. If you want to be able to spin the wheels at any time then you can turn it off, but it works well in the snow so you can just give it some gas and let the system work out the traction issues so you don't have to keep adjusting the input with your foot. If it was rwd it would be a bit more fun to turn off the vsa.

In case anyone didn't see the update in my progress thread...here's how the V-LEDs Platinum series 1157 amber bulbs (click here) compare to stock halogen turn signals (the Platinum LED is on the passenger side, halogen is on the driver side):

I'm a bit disappointed because I thought they were going to be significantly brighter than halogens, but they're almost the same brightness. I'm going to order a pair of 120 LED switchbacks and see how they compare to the V-LEDS bulbs and then decide which set I want to go with.

More pics:

Don't mind the layer of filth on my car...upstate NY winters suck.

My internet is down so using phone. The primer is a high heat says 2k F and paint is glossy black. I decided to wait on paint until I swap brake lines. I have had SS brake lines on all my cars and would like to paint rear calipers off the car.
I may look into pads rotors but my pads r 80% prolly.
