ahhhhhh that makes more sense... i couldnt get away with white side markers for inspection or with the police around here... they give me a hard time every once and a while because of the switchbacks in the front.

no i just ask them what difference does it make if theyre white when driving? they light up properly when signaling for a turn or when the hazards are on dont they? they dont really have any basis to pull me over they are just looking for a push over to write a ticket.

I have never been written for them but one cop tried to tell me that it is illegal to have any blue lights on the car at all. I then responded with "then why do audi's have their led markers and driving lights on the front of the car?"

Cop: "well.... um.. license and registration please"

after wasting about 10 minutes of my time on the side of the road, he lets me off with a "warning" I have about 10 of them now at least so i have come to the conclusion that the warnings mean absolutely nothing lol

Well, it's Western Digital so my guess is that it's an external media hard drive. Are you going to hook it up to the navi screen so you can watch videos?

My first though was to do an Apple TV through HDMI to av converter and to the nav screen, so I can airplay music and videos, but it also requires a wireless router... ending up with too many adapters and wires.
Couple days ago i was doing some research and ran into this, it is a Western Digital media center, this is the older model but it didnt bug me since i will be adding external hardrive to it anyways. Gonna have all my music and music video files on external hardrive connected to this, than to the NAV screen...
and yes it fits so damn perfect, i might have to cut out or drill some holes inside that compartment so it wont overheat.
This what the browser of this handy little device will look like after its gonna be displayed on the screen..
I can upgrade with some files from their update sites, gonna try to break inside and change up some colors and themes for menu..

I would love to see a DIY for this. Right now, I just have an iPod + AUX cable setup, along with a USB charger because my iPod touch's battery is pretty crappy. (It's a first gen 32 gb).

I think I will do a DIY on it

If anyone wanna run wireless set up (music from
Enabled Bluetooth phone to car) than look into the belkin air cast for cars. If you have 07-08 TL with aux input or 04-06 with iSimple or any module that has aux in than I recommend Getting it. I currently have it in my car and it's nice to connect the phone wirelessly without having to run the aux wire.
Here's the link to the product...
