Yeah, even the Swift manual hide-away plate frame wouldn't fit in the side grill. There's just not enough depth to make it work. Mounted it in the traditional space under the A-Spec lip:

They have 9005 DRL kits for the IS-F in stock. Should work in a TL just the same...

Where did you get the Swift manual hideaway license plate...I am contemplating the manual vs the one ^ you have Mike that is automatic (when it wants to be lol) whats better or difference in price....I wouldnt mind pulling it out and putting it back in manually.

How do you like the manual one and was it easy to mount....I am waiting to see what I do with my front end before I buy it....but I was considering doing the manual one since I only be dropping it down for shoots, meets and shows mmm

It was very easy to mount it since I already have my bumper off to do my HID fogs. It'd be pretty easy with the front jacked up too. They give you self-tapping screws to mount the bracket. It actually mounted it to the underside of my bumper, not the lip, so regardless of which front lip you go with, the plate bracket won't get in the way.

Nice car absolute. Do you live in East Texas or that area by chance??

My brakemotive rotors/pads just came in. Yay, now I gotta replace a broke lug stud and paint rear calipers before putting them in. Gonna wax rims while they are off as well. (seems to help????)

Anyway this is what I did with my day yesterday.

Still got at least another session to go through.

And I just got a brand new Pump truck at work:

Do you work for Halliburton?

Yeah that red is off the chain hot. ^^

I do work for Halliburton. Cement dept.

Thats why I am gone for a couple weeks at a time. On my 14 days I am on call I spend more time in my pickup then I do at my house. My crew usually works between 80 to 110 hours a week.

I am not looking forward to cutting a new lug stud and brake shield but I absolutely refuse to pull a hub apart and replace a wheel bearing on a 30k mile hub just for a stud. 5 maybe but not 1.

Will probably do it this weekend if my leg isn't too sore.

I've decided I'm gonna go even MOAR LOW this weekend. Went to a huge car meet last weekend and was inspired. Times like this make me appreciate my coilovers more and more.

^looks like you already have tint on there so thats a good starting point! I love the MRP. I was between that and my KBP but the red one had all four rims curbed and a lot of swirls in the paint. Welcome

Just wanted to update you guys where I stand at the moment, I haven`t been updating here much so here goes:

Picked up an 02 2G TL-S as a winter beater..

Can't wait till spring comes.. i hate winter time!
My 3G TL-S all snugged and stored in the garage.

Here is one of my many new set-up for the coming spring. (Absolute_JDM inspired. Hehe..)
