funny you should ask...her first experience with them was at the meet last weekend and i had to drive like a fucktard the whole time because i was afraid of slicing up my tires.

so her view is slightly thwarted because of that. but she does like how they look.

Your TL > my TL

Your Forgestars > my Forgestars

I'll try to get those pics of the dremeled rear asap. It's 110 degrees here, throwing out the trash has been made difficult now...

Dude your TL is sick Definitely going to take pointers from you. Just installed some cross-drilled slotted rotors and ceramic pads on my 06. Looking to black it out next. Same idea as your's with the grill, but also going to do the emblems.

exactly my thoughts. i've never bent a wheel in my life. although this isn't curb rash, i remember last weekend on my way back from the cheesecake factory car meet...cruising along on the highway going about 70mph and then...BAM! hit a pothole or some sort of major dip in the road. never even saw it coming, nothing i could do about it.

yeah i'm happy it's not worse than it is. wheel could have seriously bent or even cracked. i hit that spot in the road pretty damn hard. talked to my wheel guy, $75 to fix it and i'll probably get it done when i take these off for the winter months and put my stockies back on.

yeah i was/am/will be pissed for quite a while. haven't even had these on for a month lol

yeah yeah i know i know...

*alright so last night i dremeled off a section of the rear aspec lip. my rear tires would rub this little piece whenever i made certain turns.

taped it off, dremeled away, and kept the little metal tab where it was...i just angled it back so that it has no chance of hitting the rear tires. went for a cruise afterwards, no more rubbing.

afterwards, raised the front coilovers up 1/4" to decrease rubbing on turns/pulling into gas stations/parking lots etc.

seemed to do the trick, i no longer scrape everywhere i go and the car actually looks more level now...still slightly raked, but less noticeable. i like the way everything sits now.

car was so low that i couldn't get it on my buddy's lift...had to use some wood. even then...it barely cleared the lift arms.

I go away on vaca for a bit (no internet and maybe 1 bar at best cell phone service) and I come back to see your new tires shredded/glued back together and a damaged rim.

where'd you go on vacation? yeah yeah the tire and wheel thing sucks but it'll be alright. i'll get the wheel fixed in the off season and the tire seems to be doing just fine.

justnspace, the stock navi screen does look.........stock.

BUT i also installed a video selector module which amplifies the sound/visual quality of the nav screen. the resolution looks surprisingly good after i implemented that module!

i used the PAC VA26 module.

also mounted 2 rocker switches underneath the steering column dash, right below my angel eyes/LED strip switches.

one switch brings up video/audio for the DVD player, and the other brings up video/audio for the iphone/ipod.

the switches were realigned and aren't crooked anymore...
