I won't be getting a roof spoiler either, not my style but I do like the Type-S lip, but probably won't be putting it on either lol
I think it looks good too

Funny, right after posting that, I was looking at another guy's thread who has what I think is the Sarona spoiler (the much longer and flat across...not flared up) with the type s lip and though...man...that looks good.

Yeah, I don't know if it's because I'm maxed on the coils or what...but honestly, I love how it looks without it. Hmmm...for now.
But I can tell you that I've normally only gone a week without it, and when I put the spoiler back on I normally feel like it's going to stay...this last time though, it stayed almost a month and I immediately thought to pull it when I put it back on. Hmm...
I was doing some research...I don't think I'm sold on rear window spoiler OR the type s lip spoiler. I think it looks sleeker with nothing.

Austin, his name is Phatrick in the Slammed 3G thread.
Matt, your wish is my command, my friend. It came off during the heat game...tried to wetsand and buff out some scratches I put in from a loose piece of metal that got caught on my microfiber when passing over the spoiler holes...made a nice zigzag scratch in the trunk lid...
Wetsanded and buffed out...and looks good enough for me...also hit my tips with more 1000/2500/Barkeepers and waxed the entire car with some sample of Wolfgang Paint Sealant...that ish went on smooth and came off super easy. If it lasts...I may pick up some of this.
For Sean
That is all, time for a little vodka diet and family time...peace love and all in between to my interwebz fam.

Great pics dude, me and you gotta get together one day and take pics. When I get back from vacation, well actually a few days after I get back, my car will be lowered, and have rims once I get my A-Spec thrown on we'll plan a photoshoot
1) Damn them tips are SHINY!
2) Trailer hitch has to go man!

J, those are the cleanest pics I've seen you take so far. Seems like you're getting pretty comfy with that new lens!

Thank you, buddy, I appreciate it...it's only in pictures! In person, she a big disappoint.
.
GP...there's absolutely nothing for you to be jealous about, my friend...your car is much cleaner than mine!
Thank you, sir...Yeah NBP...the hardest to maintain and the most rewarding. It's the Pam Anderson of paint colors...

Well coming from you (you, Sean, John are my photo heros) it means a lot. I appreciate what I've learned from you guys!
Thanks for that...I was pretty proud of the outcome to be honest.
About the tips, I had never really followed up and gotten the black and gunk off the undersides that you can't see from all angles...and I'd never done sandpaper on them. So this time, 1000 grit, followed by the 2000 grit then barkeepers friend...then some high temp gloss black on the parts of the muffler that were scraped and where the paint was falling off. Made the tips stand out even more.

Damn J. your car looks amazing, as usual!
I love the third shot (below). It makes the tail lights and the small contour of the trunk lid look amazing. Nice job on polishing those exhaust tips too. You make it cool to have the stock tips and tail lights....I've been debating on losing my Type-S tails and going back to the stock reds too.
On a side note, you've inspired me to get PCDs and a lighter crank pulley. They're in the mail as we speak I'm having the PCDs installed professionally most likely but am debating on doing the pulley myself. Got any tips? lol

I agree with you, it's funny, we change and change and change and then one day I decide to put it back to stock and love how it looked! Then I start thinking...hmm...maybe I should think about ALL my mods and whether or not I like em better.
About the pulley...honestly, I youtubed that bish till I was blue in the face, ordered the dang pulley tool...then bought the dude at work a case of bud light and he hit it with his huge impact gun (strong and had the right size air line feed)...I was soooo stressed about how to do it and he had the pulley swapped in 5 friggin minutes and torqued the way they tell you to. Perfect...
Maybe take it to a shop that knows what they're doing. or just plan to get the ratchets and all the sockets you need to get it done yourself...Good luck and I hope you enjoy the mods!
It's all camera trickery, my friend...ALL OF IT! in person you would be VERY disappoint. Honestly though...that was RIGHT after doing the Wolfgang paint sealant...it already looks filthy now!
Either way, thank you for the compliment1

Well thank you and thank you very very much fellas...those are some serious compliments!
Yeah, the blue in the headlights, I was iffy on originally, but I'm really happy I went for it...
Darknite...thank you very much, man...that's a great compliment too. The exhaust tips...I accidentally cleaned the black paint off the inside of them, but actually ended up digging the whole polished stock exhaust tip look. A little extra work to maintain but it almost look like I modded it!

Well, I guess I exaggerated a bit...whenever I wash the car I clean the tips with the same wash as the rim bucket...so not bad, and then every 6 months I hit with metal polish to bring it back and get off any caked on grime.

You can't make a comment like that to someone a year older than you! LOL...I already have all the over 30 aches and pains etc...I just power through them!
Thanks man...yeah, John (ebelp) took some professional looking shots when he flew down for a family vacation a dozen pages back. Looked awesome but would always love to see what others can come up with! If you're ever around, holler at me.
And again, thank you!
