weather is grand...perfection, really...
Change of pace!?!? Shoot...turbo's drop down to under a grand yet? LOL...naw...I'm okay, I just get bored and start car shopping in my head, then realize I should be happy with what I got!
and clean is the camera trickery...she is banged up and swirled galore! But thank you!
I saw you posted in gr8ness97 thread that you were looking / thinking about pulling the trigger on a M3 but honestly I think you are better off with your car. I know M3 is a great car but it's just a M3, they all look alike but your car is UNIQUE and amazing looking. If your car was parked next to a M3 or S4 or something like that i would walk right past them right to your car and probably not even notice the other cars.
It's a real head turner! Just figured i'd help with the new car itch!

Well damn...thank you very much.
I guess you're right. At the end of the day we convince ourselves we need/want more. I think I do discount the fact that it is mine, and modded the way I want. I'd likely be bored walking up to a stock OTHER car, even if it was a great performer.
I work 5 miles from home...don't need to commute far. A 2nd weekend car is a lot more of a good idea for me. Plus, I don't want a huge car payment. She's paid...that was the nice thing about the S2000. Who knows, maybe another S in my future.

I know i can't believe you got rid of the S2K, she was a beauty as well!
Thanks, man! Yeah, unfortunately, it was kinda necessary!
Three Wheelin'
I drove in a Z4 and i was not impressed at all. S2K is far more better ride in every way.
What about an M Roadster?!?!

Screw that, 135i M package, or the new M235i. Maaaaaaaan those things are fast. I mean, if it being a convertible is a deal breaker then no go, but other than that, I absolutely love the 135i M package I rode in. Seemed to pull pretty much like an E46 M3, and that's my favorite BMW next to the E30 M3
EDIT: Nvm, did not even realize the 135i M package could be spec'd as a convertible. WANT. SO MUCH WANT.

LOL...yes, and all mentioned are above my price range, save for the E46 M3. Which I could have bought from a friend for cheap and bought the S2000 instead. He sold it to a kid that totaled it.

OK I checked and I lied. Coldest it got was -33 last night up north where I live. Still not exactly pleasant.
J, if its not too much trouble (and it probably is) would you be able to measure your tips () at some point? I think I found what will be a perfect fit shape wise for the A-Spec opening and I really want someone to confirm lol.

I want an autographed glossy of that 15th picture.

As mentioned before, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and this car is WORTH imitating, by god.
As far as glossy fap pics go, I can't provide sadly. Although I should make prints and hand em out at a meet if I ever drive down from Toronto (which I'd love to do )
What I CAN provide is a new DIY on LED DRL conversion in Canadian TLs which I will be typing up with of plenty pics in the next hour - Guitarplayer sent me on the right track after my first failed attempt at the install, and I have it working perfectly now

J.. you need to stop with your pictures and your mods and your making your car look good and shit.. Acura is going to catch wind that a 2004 TL can still look better than anything they've made in the last 7 years and they're going to SHUT YOU DOWN. How do you expect them to sell TLX's if they have a fricking TL looking like this!?!?

....Love that shot!
I love you.
Oddly, that shot was an afterthought on my way home after my real shoot.
I almost took pictures yesterday. I take too many pictures though.

This, in RWD with a phat turbo would be my dream car. Screw the CTS-V. I want a TL that looks like J's with RWD and 600 hp and I'd die a happy happy man.
Also I'm pretty sure if Acura sold cars that ACTUALLY looked like this, they wouldn't have gone from the 2nd best selling luxury sedan on the market to the woeful market share they now hold in the segment.

I don't mind. I didn't "invent" anything. Just tried different stuff and stopped when I was happy. I'd be happy to know someone else likes it too, or would like the same look. There's actually a WDP TL somewhere with the same Advan too...although doesn't have that machined edge like mine. I think the previous owner actually did that to hide rash. No biggy...I've thought about getting them powdercoated, but honestly...I love the finish on them and can't see a good reason to.
On the other hand...sold the Advan from the S2000!

Tried to keep my word and take some new ones. Well, I guess I DID. But nothing really crazy awesome about this set.

Really enjoy the first, second last and last (sunset) shots. It always looks really good "in profile".
I'm kind of trying to decide whether I want to go ahead and spring for some XXR 530s soon as the awful weather (read: another 10 cm of snow today) is over, or stick with the 5 spoke stockies, get spacers as an interim fix and save up for a higher end set of wheels.

Thanks, man...those are my favorites too. I really dig the last one. Dark, but sinister.
My vote...stocks/spacers until you can get a quality set.

Yep...I remember that car. Very very nice.

VC said he might be parting out soon, and he's local for me, so ... Hopping on that BBK and the ABP side skirts (the one thing I don't have yet)
and them wheels? although keeping white wheels clean would suck a major dick.
