Maybe I'll do one side. Rears are so easy to pop out, although with my fender liner all fkd up on the front, they are pretty easy too!

J, very nice as usual. Love the new theme.

Btw I was so far behind that I went back to page 260 and read through the rest of the thread.

Beautiful fiance (wife?), beautiful home, and a beautiful car.

Hey all! Yeah, wife!
Thanks a lot, guys.

Okay...I indulge Marco...I did the red sides too...not positive if it'll stay. I don't hate it though.

Also...sprinklers are working now...all zones, all heads...opted for the PRO series with an extra distance adjustment knob and a bunch of low profile nozzles and didn't realize it's an inch and a quarter taller than the old heads
But, still clears the mower, so eff it.

Also, started on moving the garage door opener bracket out of the scuttle hole so I can rough the opening in for the new attic ladder. Can't wait! Last project I set out to accomplish during vacation.

Thanks everyone...
Hmmm...I kinda felt like it was overkill on color on the side of the car although I didn't capture the entire side very well. I opted to go back to the smoked on the rear. The red popped so much they made the amber look dull and out of place. I might try again.

Hey Rockstar,

Just thought I'd chime in and say that as a new 3G TL owner, yours is one to aspire to! I managed to read through a good hundred pages of this progress thread just for pics alone

Also two quick questions (and I'm sure they've been answered before) but here goes: I remember you running 19x9 on your Work wheels with spacers - what are you running with the Advans spec wise?

And part 2: Where in the hell do I get those beautiful exhaust tips

Hey N1

Thanks, man...very much...kind words.

1) Advan are 18 x 9 +29 all around, but I'm running a 7MM rear spacer in addition. Tires are 225/40/18.
2) I bought them off this local shop...I tried getting the guy to source, ship them but he won't tell me who makes them or how someone would be able to get them for themselves and he doesn't feel like getting them and shipping...even if he marked them up.

Nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu man how I wish I could get my hands on those tips haha. Those tips just make the back of your TL stand out a LOT.

I'm planning on doing the base A-Spec back myself as I'm not a fan of the type S rear lip - I think the base A-spec makes the back look a fair bit more aggressive/sporty, even with the quads on the Type S. Well that and I don't want to repaint a Type S lip abyss blue pearl

Tell me about it, man...I was hellbent on finding oem looking tips and making them work with the base aspec. although if I had a type s rear, I'd have just gone with the bigger type s looking tips on the exhaust. That looks great too! You're not the first that's been asking where to get them, that's how I know the guy wasn't interesting in helping to make them available. I know RV6 Richie got a set along with another set but I'm not sure if he ever got around to sourcing them for everyone. I'd ask him.

Thank you again for the kind words.

No, look at your read-out behind the phone. Does that say Petty (as in Tom Petty)?
