i like the contrast in the calipers very nice. aside from the window visors, your car is very clean. it's one of the few that pull off the black wheels on a black car well (well, maybe the only one).

very nice updates, J.
i'm liking the new caliper color a lot...just wish the brembo decal was a tad larger.
overall, very good job.

Wifey traded in the Accord Coupe for a new SRX. There's a thread in Car Talk

That color on the calipers flows great with your car! Is that a high temp paint? Might be looking to repaint my engine plastics with something new and trying to see what's out there for colors

Dang, Tyler...
That means a lot coming from you MR professional cars and coffee creepy photo guy.
LOL...I get that a lot...working in shorts and T shirt in February is nice. Thank you very much. A lot of people say, WHAT?!? You haven't had that car resprayed?!?!
LOUDER!!?!?
I ran it by my art consultant...she took one look at the PS image of the Gold/Copper and was like...Um. NOPE. that kills your blue and black theme. I am honestly VERY happy!
Dude, if you were local, i'd be down to give you a hand. Thank you so much.
I tend to agree, it matches awesome...and now when I pop my hood MIami DOLPHINS colors! Gracias, amigo.
Thanks Steven, I've been doing squats lately...so that might explain it.
Thank you very much! I appreciate the love.
Shhhh, don't let Chris (Italiano) hear that! Although he won't care anymore now that his wife is driving the TL . Thank you...I used to be ANTI window visors too...but over time especially with not much color contrast on black on black...I liked the addition of another line that flows with the body very well. I appreciate the comment though...believe it or not...I have always hated black on black. The car was my stepdad's so that was a deal I couldn't pass up and the pictures of the rims on the forum when I bought them were laying flat on the ground, I actually thought they were a really shiny gunmetal till they arrived and were black... I've made the best of it by incorporating other colors to compliment.
Wow, thanks man...very very much
Thank you Aaron...
Hey...at least I faced them the right way!
Honestly, I went with the same sized ones that I had gotten last time, I kinda felt like it was a good size for the overall size of the caliper.
Well, now that you're going black on matte graphite...you COULD introduce a loud color if you wanted...like porsche orange to match your type s diffuser reflectors...
Thanks Quan.
Yes sir, thanks for clarifying.
Thanks man...
Merci, mon ami!

MEKO, I'll have to see the image when I get home, but thanks regardless. My job blocks a lot of posted images for some reason.
sockr1, it's high temp silver...then topped off with regular old teal...there's a high temp version called torque and teal but I opted for the same one as ebelp since i had bought it preemptively. It's called Satin Lagoon...can be had cheap at Home Depot too.
High temp engine clear over it...

Hey hey hey...just cause we got the car doesn't mean she's gonna knock herself up!
Everyone at her job thinks we're hiding that...and my family yesterday, showed them the car and they're like...yeah, good car in the future for a kid...like in NINE MONTHS!?!

Well, every week you come to C & C with your huge DSLR and a massive raging and obvious hard on, so I was going out on a limb with that assumption.
The whole "it's the pleats in my pants" thing will only go so far...and obviously it doesn't work when you're wearing FOTL sweatpants.

...let's put it this way, base model accord, paying 350 a month, Caddy, payment went up $75 bucks a month. Her Dad is the special finance manager, gave us more than blue book trade in on her car and a boatload of dealer incentives...the whole "family car" thing is just justification for me personally to be ok with having taken on that kinda debt. Basically, great deal, great trade in value, and the logical "next step car us" now rather than later.
About getting pregnant, dude, I hope so! Making love is already awesome, but it's even BETTER when she's there to experience it with me.
Ok, so...why put off till tomorrow what you can get done today? Had my AC Delco Fluid that her Dad picked up for me (replaces GM SYNCROMESH FM)...took a quick nap after work to give me a day after super bowl bump...and decided to swap fluid. Took a bit longer than expected, but still not bad.
Here's what the OLD GM syncromesh looked like after 30K miles. And last time I put in all 3 quarts...this time I marked off every 1/3 line on the bottle and left myself enough in one for a need to only purchase 2 quarts my next 2 changes.
Overall, glad I did it...peace of mind is great.
Also, after driving around today with the new delrin bushings, aside from the minor fitment issue (bigger bushing hole was too small, had to drill out)...I have to say that I'm VERY glad with this mod. Like I said yesterday, it's not a night day mod...it's subtle, but it DOES remove that little annoyance of going into gear and having that split millisecond where you're kinda fishing for the entrance into it...you won't know you ever did what I just described until you change the bushings and realize that you're so much happier that it just kinda GOES into the right gear with less effort. I did notice that 5th and 6th require a tad more effort but since those are 2 gears you normally go into and leave them there, it was worth the trade off for how awesome the first four are to row though.
I'm sure the bearing ones that Markus sells are a better quality etc...but as far as the delrin being hard to shift in and out of, not an issue for me thus far...and at $22 shipped (and hoping for a partial refund for my need to drill out to make fit)...I dont' feel like I wasted my time on this.

GP, thank you again for the photoshop works, man. IT helped greatly in making a decision on color.
Jeffrey...I'm so glad that our relationship has gotten to the point where we can be open and honest with each other. When we kiss, the goatee itches a lot. I've been dying to say something but thought "what if he doesn't call me back after I tell him"...

Now ON topic, guys and gals...I know 30K ain't shit for a Honda and I probably didn't "need" to reswap fluid but holy shit...if my tranny was smooth shifting before, now it's like fucking melted butter on a half baked croissant. I mean, really...I either forgot what it felt like when I first switched, or it's better the 2nd time around...if you don't have the GM stuff in there yet...or Delco stuff, I should say...you are missing out in a major way. I mean, I can almost just think what gear I want to be in and not even use my hand...it just goes into gear.
...and I'm not one to juice up a mod if it makes no difference just to feel better about wasting my money by wasting YOUR money...I'll tell it like it is. It is awesome.
