Blue, silver, or grey would be great for my next car

this is my first black car, and while i love it when its clean...i HATE how quickly it gets dirty. its borderline ridiculous.
if i could get a good paint job at a decent cost i would def switch up the color.

^hence why my car is still NBP.

^^^Easily...
to be entirely honest, that's the MAIN reason I've been so hellbent on keeping the paint decent. The shinier and more protected it is, the cleaner it looks, even when it has dirt on the surface.
I'll never do black again. I am positive of that.
I had a 97 accord with a repainted hood that looked like crap, got a cheap paintjob on it and it faded quickly. I think that's another reason i appreciate and take care of my paint so religiously now.
and for Morgan:
Took these this morning at dawn to show how bright the led's really are with no frost diffuser.
parking lights only
brake lights

Actually John, I keep a 23" tall Mexican man in my glove compartment specifically for times like these.
Josh, I feel ya...but at this point, with the car being 9 years old...I just chalk it up to battle scars. If you look closely, my car is banged up, but overall, I keep the appearance looking pretty good etc. I just live with it.
John, seriously, I keep a "club" in the trunk in case I park in a weird location that I'm not familiar with and figured I'd add a an EXTRA deterrent. It comes in handy to keep my clutch pressed all the way in when I use the syringe to add grease to the master cylinder and for brake light shots! And I agree, SUPER bright!

Giant Blue Car
I don't want another black car unless I have a garage to keep it in. I've gotten thoroughly frustrated with all the tree sap droplets, the patches of degrading clear coat (), and not having anywhere covered to wash/wax a black car in Texas! I want to try the clay bar thing again, but I think I'm doing it wrong.
If my stupid "lamelord" would put a roof over where I park my car, that would be better than nothing....the posts are already there....cheap-ass muthaf'er....
That is a cool emblem, by the way!

thanks man...yeah, that was my fav for a while!
Josh, hate to say it, but see how it shines INSIDE the emblem...with your CF inserts, it won't work.
I agree with you wholeheartedly...I'm doing all this bishing and guess what...I DO park in a garage. Given, not big enough to wax in, but I just plan to do it at a time of day when the sun is on the other side of the house or VERY early morning.
cheap landlord, huh...yeah, I don't see them spending money they don't HAVE to. Unfortunately for you.

Great pics.
JMO, but the Rockstar TL just wouldn't be the Rockstar TL if it wasn't NBP. It's a part of your identity now, J.
Going from a relatively dark colour on the Accord to the silver on the Jetta, I can wholeheartedly say I would want to go back to a dark blue/grey colour on my next car. The Jetta looks just as dirty as the Accord did.

Thanks Aman...but did you ever consider that maybe it's not the car?!? Maybe it's just a dirty driver!
LOL
Thanks man, I love my car in NBP, trust me. NOTHING is as rewarding as black when it's clean. But I DO miss the POP of the brownish colors, or the metallic of my old Blaze Orange car, or the Electron Blue Pearl EP I had prior to that.
Steven,
Thanks man! Yeah, I was one of Steve's (amp'd) original DIY's and promoters. Everyone was calling it a ricey mod and I defended it and told people to stop repeating what others were saying, give it a fair shot and really judge for themselves. I don't regret it ONE BIT. I love my amp'd emblem!
