But life would be so boring without mods.
Do you do much of your maintenance yourself?

I agree... I believe this would be too much for wheels. UNLESS, you have the right design and the outcome would look somewhat like Aaron's F.S.'s! = sex! My wheels are very similar in design and stance but I don't see me ever getting that bold! And after I showed a friend my egine cover, that was the first thing he said, "Do the wheels!"

...and you hated it?
That's the Satin Lagoon that John used for his caliper! Maybe for the wheels it's too much?
J.
Tyler, tell me about it, buddy...funny, earlier this week I said, man, I got no mods to do, just going to enjoy the car but there's ALWAYS something needed to be maintained or fixed. And the majority of the time it's cause I fkn touched it or modded it.

Great new stance and pics. Looking at that sky you'd think a hurricane just rolled through or something...

Thanks Austin!
Thanks you, brother...constant work in progress! I do have to say that I love it. I'm sure that comes across...I'm getting a little nuts with whipping out the DSLR every 2 days.
THank you very much...I have to say that I'm very happy with them! I wasn't sold originally, but they've pulled the theme together very well. I appreciate the commentary:
Thanks Josh!
Ya don't fkn say!?!? LOL...yeah, I was over the squatting butt...I didn't MIND it, but occasionally I felt like when I'd park in certain spots where the ground was uneven, the fronts didn't look low enough. Not a problem for you, obviously! The weird wear on the rear tires was the nail in the coffin. I didn't raise it much...about 5/16" of an inch from bottom lockring to bottom of shock body.
And MAN...I forget how much more relaxed and a pleasure to drive the car is with the RSB on street....on track, you can feel every bump in the road whether you hit something on the left or right. I mean, it feels sporty and tight...but too much of a good thing. Street is much more streetable.
Oh, and since things can never just be good and normal:

Whoah, lucky you!
Like a puppy! I need to get crackin on having kids. I ain't no spring chicken anymore!
I guess I'm just not that into the red too much. I actualy really like the plastics color matched SSM. Then maybe you can go nuts on the intake plate and do a red plate/black letters?! Or vice versa?!?!?!
Red is your theme, right?

Nice pictures, dude =)
Btw, why's your avatar pixely?
It's not just yours though, it's with a lot of avatars on acurazine too.
Do you guys just upload your full resolution picture into the "User CP"?
As a web-designer, it just bugs the hell out of me because that is a beautiful picture, but it's pixely so that just looses the beautiful part lol

Hey Rockstar,
Since you somewhat recently refinished your brakes i'll ask you a couple quick questions.
I'm thinking about painting my calipers the bronze-ish color similar to the pic below. WHat paint would you use? Where would you get it? and where did you get the brembo stickers?

I guess it does the opposite of what Flickr does? Instead of boosting to full quality it drops it down.

Ok, I'm starting to get this, but I did have to do a LITTLE touchup on contrast using picmonkey.
ISO 1200 to 1600 F was at around 4.0 and the aperture open time (?) was around 200 or so. I just kept messing with that.
In other new, cleared the code this morning and it was back by the time I got to work...in addition, I've noticed when the car sits for a bit, it sputters and wants to turn off when I first start driving. Lately too...I've noticed that I feel like the car's acceleration needs to kinda "break free"...like it is sluggish when giving it gas and then when I hit rpm it'll kinda let loose. (if that makes sense). Makes sense as this upstream sensor is the one that determines the air fuel ratio. I'm guessing when the sensor starts bugging out, it makes the engine run rich.

The "aperture open" is the shutter speed!
And F stops are displayed f/4 or f/4.0

Thanks Austin...
Ok, my shutter speed then! I know because I've realized that depending on what number I set there, will determine how long the shutter will stay open. So many different settings! Ok, and it was about F/4.5 or so.
Why does the lens say F1.8 then? Is that fixed?
Dan...looking like about $120. I'll live...
Will take me about 15 minutes to swap out. I'll try checking the wiring first, but really...I don't see why it would have a problem.

1.8 is the largest the aperture will open to.
My teather told us all the time, "The larger the number, the smaller the hole." inb4 ghey jokes.
1.8 means the aperture is wide open on that lens.
F22 on the other hand, means the lens' aperture is very small, letting in very little light, now you need a longer shutter speed to let in more light.
Now another thing good to know is, when at f/1.8, you have a very short depth of field (DOF), meaning you can have a flower in focus and something a mere few inches back will be completely blurred. At higher f/stops, f/8, 10, ect, your depth of field expands, letting more objects come into focus.
The benefits of that 50mm lens is the f/1.8, it's a very fast lens. You can have it at f/1.8 and have a fast shutter speed because it's letting in a ton of light. Hence this lens is also good for low light situations.
And one more thing about your pics, try bringing down the ISO if you're seeing a lot of noise, (zoom in really far in some of your pics). Higher ISO usually creates noise, which is a pain in the arse.
