Go wash the car and make it all shiny. I guarantee that will un-depress-ify you. Then post pics.

Dude...that video almost made me laugh so hard I almost peeed.
Ok, clean car and take pictures, got it. Get me out of my funk!
I DEFINITELY need to clean my windshield...it's annoyingly dirty from always riding with the windows down.
As far as "quick release"...I left that issue behind in my early 20's!

Speaking of clean windshields, I got the new Griot's Garage windshield protectant yesterday. It's suppose to really repel rain and water.
I'm anxious to try it out.

Id like to hear what you think about it.
I can clean the exterior surface of windows, no problem. Its the inside that I always leave streaks on

Clean both inside and outside of the window
Do one side up & down, the other side left & right
So you can see what side the streaks are on.
Overspray or a dirty towel tends to leave streaks.
I've used eagle one for years and haven't had any issues, i just got a meguiars but haven't tried it out yet

Actually, you know what works best on a streaky windshield?
Newspaper!

Ive tried newspaper before, still left streaks. Its like theres a film on the inside of the window and no matter what I just push that crap around.

^^^I've noticed that that "haze" will also be worse or better depending on humidity. I used to think it was nicotine in previous cars when I smoked...but now. I don't.
What I've noticed is doing the windshield 3 times in a row, even when you can't see streaks helps. And swap over to a different newspaper repeatedly. Also, that Stoner's INVISIBLE GLASS is fkn awesome...left the least amount of streaks of them all. My main thing is that HAZE shows when I put up and take down the sun shade and it hits the glass.

Yea, it probably is humidity. I only drive with the windows down when its cool out at night. Otherwise the a/c is on. I don't smoke nor has anyone smoked in my car. Id fucking kill them. And yet I still have haze
I use nothing but Invisible Glass.

I agree with this Rockstar guy....
Stoners Invisible Glass is just awesome....just be careful using that product on the inside coz at night there shall be a ton of reflections of the windows/windshield....

I use Invisible Glass exclusively too. I'm going to try the Windshield protectant from Griot's on it later today.

Get a clean towel use some soap and water and clean it real well.
then use some window cleaner, I've applied spray to the window and to the towel and have gotten the same result.
If you still have some streaks spray some more on the towel wipe down the streak.
If it still has streaks try to buff them out with clean dry towel. I use a light colored towel so i can see when its dirty.
Alot of glass cleaners say they dry streak free try to leave it even and a little damp and let it air dry, if you still cant get of the streaks

what kills me is that it's so hard to SEE the streaks until my drive to work the next morning when the sun is hitting me from the east...
and try wiping down the windows when the doors are closed and the heat from your breath and sweat starts fogging up the windows. THEN it's a real effin mess.

LOL...good one Sean...
but if I'm not mistaken, Ammonia is the chemical that leaves no streaks AND will damage your tints. That's why all tint safe window cleaners say "ammonia free"!
Dreem1er...you are right! Didn't say it was the windshield that gets messy!
