repainted my rims finally!!













so these are the pics before, during, and after.. i'll post more up of it detailed and with the a-spec kit!! i thought it would look bad but i actually like them i got my friends trying to buy it off me but i think i'll hold on to it for a while

Good decision in painting them. Really wasn't feelin them before but they look hot now

i used the duplicolor rim paint... use the search feature i saw a diy on here and just went from there it took me about 5 hours to do everything but i didn't mount them on til 2 days later, i made sure everything was touched up the right way put a few coats of clear and washed them before putting them on. thanks for the comments guys

looks a lot better now then when it wasnt painted. musta been a pain in the ass with those rivets.

ive thought about painting my rims black, they are already gunmetal, but i think it may look better straight gloss black. keep us up to date on how the paint stays on the rims.

so far i've had the wheels painted well over a month and they've stayed on good... i wash my car every week with a high pressure washer and no chips yet, i just took my time doing them and i'm glad that i did... as for the rivets i just smeard vaseline over them and when i was done washed it off and the rivets were fine! thanks for the comments guys... post more pics soon... the gf drove the car one day and curbed the a spec lip so i had to take it out and get it redone again
