yep. just like that unfortunately, there's a spot where you can still see the key marks , i guess they forgot to lay primer, it's only a small section on the quarter panel, but it's bugging both me and my buddy. So, tommorrow they're going to wetsand and buff, and if it doesn't come out : repaint it is!
other than that; im extremely happy with the outcome. Looks amazing in person.

All done!
Car was detailed last night, just stopped raining so i drove it out of the shop and snapped a couple of pics, still really ugly weather here.. but im in love with the car all over again! You can definitely see the blue SO much clearer, even under flourescent lighting, i can't wait until its sunny. Wheel guy appointment was today, but we decided to wait until the weather gets better, so that'll be this coming week!

Just had my front end painted. I just rinse with water and gently wipe off with a microfiber towel.

no waxing because it will trap any contaminants during the "curing process". thanks man, i can't wait till i can see it in the sun and my wheels are done.
^ im actually going to dust the car every day, and wash it with meguiars whenever it gets dirty.

Just installed the Isimple Gateway; I'm very happy with the results. Easy installation. I think the hardest part was putting the plug back on and figuring out exactly where to mount the unit. Took less than 30 minutes and is really worth it. Especially since I got it for only 50 bucks!

Jer, and guys, I'm actually skeptical about those clear bras. We had a car here at the shop with it on (quite a few actually) and they don't help as much as i initially thought, a type S (07) came in with it on the entire bumper, front half of the fenders and front part of the hood, and to my amazement: It seemed almost as if everything got thru it! maybe the paint didn't chip as much, but every nick could be seen and felt, it looked horrible, not to mention the time it took to clean off the adhesive.

Paint can only be immaculate for so long. With the vinyl stuff you're just delaying the inevitable. Plus, like you said, rather not have the adhesive and be able to feel/see all the bumps.

I hate those vinyl stuff on the car but in Boston if I repainted my TL, then I might think about it lol

^^^That's interesting information, thanks for sharing that, man...so the clear bra isn't the solution either...just drive 15mph on backroads all the time and that's it!

J.

Looking good, man...do you have more and better shots of your rear aspec lip conversion in comparison to the base rear?!?

New pics!!!!!
Finally had time and some good weather here in Boston, snapped a few quick pics in the sun of my TL.
unfortunately, i don't have any programs to resize the pics and they are "too large" for acurazine. So i uploaded them to Flickr. and created a "set"

http://www.flickr.com/photos/8022045...7630028139081/

if anyone can upload them straight to acurazine for me it would be greatly appreciated!

Azine should resize them on it's own. See if you can bring up the album and then select all and copy the IMG code. Idk if Flickr can do it but I know PhotoBucket can.

Nice pics by the way, that close up of the paint is
