That said, I don't even know what he's talking about so...
Austin>Jeremy

Anil, what you got in mind...gotta run that skinny rubber for proper fit, brah!

Meko, I'm with you, with the base reds, the red sidemarkers are the way to go. Dare to be different. And leave the steering wheel alone, crazy a$$.

Le me translate,

Meko, don't pay and balance your stupid bald tires.
nor get 17" tires at the end of the summer
Order those friggin xxr535s and buy a tire for them
and sell the stockies
I'll pay for the tires (not sure about this part)

Awhh yeah, leaving the reds on

Did you notice the difference on that new 4g steering?
It looks round but on 4 o'clock and 8 o'clock, the patter gets thicker and straight, like gives the feeling of the GTIs steering

First 4g didn't have that

I want it

Jeremy, Tyler said, my dumb ass sold the rims (Wedssport ones) and I was explaining to him that I couldnt have gotten them to fit unless I ran 215 tires and -6.334534345 camber...ohh I forgot we dont read Tyler's posts

now for you Meko...dont sell the stockies....put some all season or dedicated winter tires on the stockies and keep em for the winters....in the summer swap out of the "nicer" rims running summer tires

I said no. Leave steering wheel alone. Love what you got, sister.

ohh about 225 tire...the only reason why I went with 225 is because the 235 was heavy as a bish !!! not sure if a typo or what, the 235 was heavier by 5 lbs/tire....

plus I have heard that skinnier tires get out of snow better and wider tires give better traction in the summer....so my summer tires will be either 245/40 or 255/40

If I were you, I would've throw 255 on them and drive with 0 camber ... since your car looks like 4x4 because of lightweight, rubbing wouldn't be a problem hahahaha

Yes sir, that's the plan

Yes yes me love 4 spokes better than UA7
UA7 has too flat surface for a 3spoke

but new 4g is awesome
ok ok ok zip

Do they differ that much?
I am most likely going to get Eagle GT again but all of them gives same number of weight...225, 235

http://www.mavistire.com/ProductCart...id=26898&frb=B

Of course skinner tires are better
Lighter force/power to pull that tire off of that snow, less likely to do spin the tires

but if you go in more details, gotta put in the height to count as well....
bigger rims means higher the height of tire, which is more rubber touching on the ground

with 225/45

225 times .45 = 101.25mm sidewall
225/40 will give you 90mm of side wall
which is less rubber on the ground (much better for snow)

---------

For summer
245/40 has 98mm sidewall
or
255/40 has 102mm sidewall

I mean running 5mm bigger in width of the tire
and plus
as in tire facing front and rear, not much of difference in how much more tire touching to ground... just 102-98=4mm but still longer tire on the ground

245 would be better I guess, more rubber on the ground and not too much as 255 (slow)

Should I get 235/45/17 again?
I want 245 but I am sure it will slow me down
I don't know hot 255 people say it's faster...gotta ask Justin that
It doesn't make sense, but less sidewall might close the difference of rubber on the ground you know
I am guessing that is what's happening... to cause it run faster than 235

Anil, how many seconds 80 to 100 you said?
Damn I am slow haha

Here listen the exhaust
on highspeed all you hear the intake on the video but after 5:00, you kind of hear the tone a little

Here is how good it sounds at idle, imagine while driving
I'll get a camera man on weekend and record from outside too

Meko...when i tried starting right from 80, the timing was all that great...try starting from 70-ish....that way you are carrying more speed into it....

the 40-60, i started from 35-ish.....the 60-80 I started from 50-ish and I was on a decline (downhill) and I hept going to 100....

Yes yes yes finally we did the alignment
It's either I am too sensitive or the car really had no alignment, car flows on the highway now

No more that scary shaking after flooring the pedal

Front right without the clips was .25
Not bad

but
Front left was 1.5

Still have very very very light vibration but that's ok, doesn't shake the car

Rear are my best rims but no thread on the tires, so....

The thing I don't get is how the heck did I scrape the left front. Usually and always my parallel parking is on the left

Yes it was raining again

Chromium black and plastidip white 3 of the spokes

Because of John I loved Chromium black but now I think I want machined silver
I don't like chrome nor black, reason I wanted it because looks kind of gunmetal

but I am not a fan of chrome look at the same time
