My dad said " they are going to take a part the engine, of course they will adjust the valves. How they are going to close it then. "

But I will ask them to make sure. After class 3:30

Opened up a TL folder in the bookmarks already... getting there lol
Thanks bro..

Changed the plans again.
Went to Herb C. Honda and talked to the service manager. Remembered from dad's pizza store also, anyways.

He said v4 engines are $700. V6 is $800 for TB.
Tensioner is $100
Valve adjusting is $500

= $1400

The engine mounts are like $80. The ones on the right side, since easier to replace.
He said that he could replace them for free if needed.
That's all? GTFO don't come to eat pizza again lol..

I told him about the NJ Honda...he was shocked

Called the NJ Honda.
TB $389
Valve adjusting $290
Tensioner $75

= $754

I will try to finish it next saturday. Before I go to Maine on 22nd.
Will not wait for light to come-up

Also got the 6 spark plugs today. Will replace them after the service.

9" wouldn't fit. This is perfect, right on the edge. Most far it can be.

Why it's yellow? Because idiot me used the oil filter cleaning spray. Not the synthetic one. AEM said it'l just take out the red dye.

It was actually K&N CAI but never used it. May be if I took out the front bumper once, I would have done it but no.
Rain snow = 75% of the year in Boston keeps me with SRI. I know nothing would happen unless if I go through ocean :P but idk

K&N SRI sucks but I extended the pipe here and got smaller filter. Keeps me running good.

And this is how I get the air to it

Oh and Austin... that blue Type-S of friend.
We also got the exact same CAI to him. I mean used the CAI.
I never liked it. Mine was way louder as you know SRI's are.
And I don't know some people might say you won't notice the low or high RPM differences but I did.

SRI is good on low RPM we know that and that's what I like.
The old setup which is the SRI K&N really sucked hot ait. It's sooo noticable.
filter is right bisede the engine and too big.

Never felt that much lag with this custom one.
We'll see. I never saw +80F yet in Boston with that SRI.

Have a question...

Yesterday, after taking out the ignition coils. The one on the middle and back had some oil leaking. Dad's like it's just a drop and has to use 1040. I always replaced the oil at dealer free A-1 service... but I don't know what they used 5w-30 probably?

I don't want to use the 1040 but should I ask Honda NJ for valve cover gasket?

So..

Even glove box and center console is LED on my TL. The only amber bulbs that I didn't touch were the reverse gear bulbs.

Saw the silverstars at Autozone and bought em for $10.
Just like as I expected they were bright than stock ones. But don't want to leave em yellowish.

So took out my interior 12 LED bulbs from superbrightleds.com
And used them.
Since ebay ones are on the way.

As some of the people mentioned on other thread, stock ones are the best for reverse. Well silverstar is better but NOT led's.

Since I don't remember seeing my amber bulbs lighting the rear when I back up, I didn't care how much they light-up back of the car.
Just went with the look and used the LED's.

Trunk lip for roof lip.
This is my old trunk lip. If anyone wondering if fits or not. Yes it does. Not perfectly but i plastidiped it and when you place it on top of the black glass, can't notice the off parts.

But could be used for it.
I will not use it.

What the...
LED's are still not shipped.

"""sorry to disturb you at this time.the item you purchased is out of stock now,we only have 2 in stock now, here is the other two versions we have:

i am willing to exchange it to 12 SMD or 24 SMD,is that ok?sincerely sorry again and thank you for your kind understanding.wait for your kind reply.have a nice day.

yours
soonhua"""

I told him 1 of 15 SMD and 4 of 12 SDM

I'll use the 15 for the trunk. And 12 for the interior.
Since some members and CLtotheTL32 mentioned 15 is kind of bright. Not sad with 12 ones.

Ahaaaa now actually I could compare both side by side. 15 and 12 for the members who are wondering.

My 15-LED boards are pretty damn bright. I think 12 would be just fine but 24 would be overkill. You would probably have an aneurism

Damn that food on the grill looks bangin'

24 LED's... tanning room lol
aneursm hahaha

I used 9 LEDs too but I don't know even 12 is not enough for me. May be because so many light's outside, where I usually park. You can't notice there are LED's inside.

superbrightled.com...some people say they suck. Vleds are way to go.
I huess Vleds are somewhere between superbrightled.com and SMD

Anyways... probably I'll be happy with 12SMD's.

---------------

thank you for your kind email
i already packaged your package just now myself
it includes:

1 - 15 SMD
4 - 12 SMD

Wow really dude...
what the... is wrong with my LEDs

I tried the old ones I had from superbright and at least 2 or 3 LED's are off.

On the weekend replacing the reverse bulbs...I checed 4 interior and 2 door LED's I got from superbirhgt.

all of them had 2-3 led's off.
Except the front 2, because I replaced em like last year.
Used those for reverse bulbs.

I don't know bro
Would freezing cold do something to them?
