Meko, just out of curiosity and not to derail from the exotics, but do you notice any heat soak from your SRI? I'm seriously considering one now to use up my Amazon Gift Card but I'm worried the hot air from the engine bay/FL heat would be worse than a stock air box that lets some cool air in.

True.. unless it's a nice game
Yesterday was boring until 7th inn but after that it was good, especially at 9th inn
Chicago was winning 1-0
@ 9th inn, 2 bases are full, boom makes it homerun and 3-1

Anil, bro I promise I will swap the bulbs today

You'll find everything anwered here.
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...3#post13916583

Steven is happy with it.
I created heat shield for it and I am happy with that.
So buy it and you'll go from there. If you feel the heat soak, there is only 2 little mods you have to do.
Connect the air pipes in front of the battery or do it like what Justn did

&

create heat shield (easy)

now we talking....I have played soccer all my life (kinda)

played for my school then for my college and then for the state (this is back in India)....when i graduated, they retired my jersey and the #....no one else would ever get my jersey I broke my leg playing soccer....and my pace was never the same but still I tried....i went from being LEFT FRONT to Center because my pace slowed down....

when I came to NY, i didnt play for 2 years....then in STL, i played an indoor league and eventually for the company (Monsanto)....and in KC, I was playing until last year when I was asked to travel to Philippines....now i just play an indoor league time to time....

and take your time with the swap....i was just busting your chops

heeey I didn't know that you play soccer
same here dude, all my life is soccer but didn'y join the team at college. 5 days of school was too much but of course on weekend we do play

i only had small injuries but even with that, it slows down the pace, i can't imagine broken leg but moving to center was smart

im kind of everywhere on the right side, defense and middle mostly. I can't score while being close to goal. Love kicking from the middle

=====

Bulbs are done
I did at our pizza store, and guess what, I opened up everything, took out that silver bolt and took 30 minutes at first try, took out the bulb
went to trunk to get the new Osrams...
facepalm

I forgot em at parents house.. 20 miles
We finished replacing 2 oxygen sensors of roomies BMW
and went to get the bulbs. Hell no, im not closing it and opening it again.

Some pics from Beeeeeean

I got my TL painted black

There he is again... the idiot
You see front of mcdoalds...that's where he hit the front bumper 2 times

I had some tube bulbs from my WV Golf. Used em on his license
Also cleaned the headlights and fog with that turtle thing I had
And plastidiped the grill + orange reflecters on the bumper (front)

Now will make him pay $110 for 2 clear front signals

After that, redo his tints comletely
Was half done when he bought it and ugly purple

Getting the bulbs

Comparing stock HID with Osram, posted the link on previous posts (from motivemods)

Sooooooooooo bright, was suprised with it without ZKW-R

In this pic, Osram is covered, you only see the left one which is stock

Here is when I moved away from the headlight
Camera can't even capture the wood trim because it's too bright

His bulbs and mine
Again because of the brightness, camera can't capture the wood totally

A friend came from Istanbul. He had E550 from his father but then he was driving Range Rover Sport (current)
He will continue his college here at Berkely College (music)

We are getting this to him.
http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...nal&listType=1

Checked it today and paied the deposit
We'll have it on Monday prob..

So that's all for today

While comparing:

The first time I turned-on the lights, Osram was so green comparing to the stock one. Stock one had light cool blue.
Im like what the heck, I didn't like it.

Waited 20 seconds, still stock one was much better looking, Osram did had light green in it, still.

OK replaced the other one too:
As the time went by, leaving them open for a long time, it totaly changed.

Now when I turn the light on, it gives so nice cool bluish color (way more blue than stock), and then when it heats up, perfect white. No yellowish like stock.

Just like what they mentioned around here.
I tryed to take picture but camera doens't capture it.

It's all good. They're too expensive for me to justify, I was just curious on the performance of them.

When I do something to the car, I want it to be best, I don't want to mod it again and waste money later on.

I needed a bulb for the right side, so took this road. If had no problems with the bulb, no way for this mod yet. I would've waste the money on some other mods.

Headlight bulbs are one of the last mods if you ask me. ZKW comes before it

Edit: oohhh if you have stock bulb for 6 years yeah you might want to swap them. I new my bulbs were about to die. If the road is bad, I always turn up my fog lights to see the holes and stuff.
Now I could even see the top line even if the wall is 100 ft away, look at the last pictures in a parking lot.
+
While making turns, I love seeing the line turning to, before it was like just lights up the road, that's it, can't see if hits the wall or not.

Nooo way stock ones would go all the way to that S5

When I finally do mine I'll have everything new. I'll mod mine and then get new bulbs. (HID and like an LED fog or a much brighter halogen.)

1 - If paid that money for A-Spec rear, I would be happy too. Because I could live with stock bulbs, no need to hurry.

2 - Would you include upgrading to these bulbs? Oh yeah especially before winter in Boston.
Way bright, so much difference.. it would worth that money.
Much better color.

BUT, my stock ones are 6 years old.
I don't know how new Philips and new Osram would compare with each other.

aaaand it just came to my mind while typing that. Everyone is saying stock ones are Philips, why did it say Osram on my stock bulbs?

If doing it just for fun, or to upgrade, (not because you need to swap em) yeah do all of them together.

Cleared looks good on silver TL's. Especially since you haven't blacked out the grille entirely. It might look good with blacked out though...
