Got it
Positive it's because of the mounts.
Nothing to do with stuff around the tire, as I said it didn't sound like coming from tire area anyway.

I was going to lunch at work.
The second I turned the key to start the car,
boom..that exact sound hit for 3 times...luk luk luk
engine moves

I am postive i friggin harmed the engine
This thing is going on since months and i am thinking it's the bushings
but these days are the times it got worse and worse
front is like about to drop

Moves whiler shifting from R to D as well

I read it but is it really that noticable
and I don't know how that is possible
Only way to feel it is if they are not mounted correctly and engine is not sitting straight so shakes the body of the car or interior whatever

is the other one polyurethane inserts?

well 75A means the bushings are stiffer and the engine vibrations will travel in your cabin....

60A has a little softer bushings and hence not as many engine vibrations will travel in your cabin....

dont get my wrong here, 60A should be good enough as it brings it many many vibrations

Oh man haha

I never go easy on the car and thinking of Boston roads and this winter going to be crazy... I am like I'll just the strongest one, it'll get softer anyhow.
Plus of course there will be big vibrations at first, but I think it'll get lower later one
metal just needs to get used to it. That's how metals are you know it, will sit betteras time passes

Let me think again haha

i dont think you know how bushings work LOL....

motor mounts dont care if you are driving in boston or the moon....aftermarket motor mounts are solid mounts and will bring in serious vibrations....

for NA crowd, i recommend 60A
for FI crown i would say 70A or 75A
for DRAG/TRACK only crowd, i say 80A....

i leave the rest to you....

So...

New links front and back from Moog
New 20mm Rear sway bar
New engine mounts 62A from XLR8

Puts smile on my face, forget trading the car. In love once again

This weekend we replaced the front and right engine mounts
Left one was broken, oil spilled when we turned it, top was broken
Right one was not broken but loose to be trash...

Went to Acura to replace oil blah blah, they didn't rotate the tires
Said rear right is bent. Technician wasn't there so couldn't find out exactly where, will find out today.
I think they are talking about the sidewalk scratches on edges of the rim. No way I will bent the rim because of hole, bump or something.

Also re tighten the links

----

This weekend, will replace the rear engine mount
Clean the negative battery cable and put some battery grease

If battery drain still continues, I am thinking of replacing negative cable.
Because before, + cable was getting corroded and draining the battery, we replaced the + cable and it was gone. Now it's clean. No more getting corroded

Well, I replaced it because corrode broke off the connection piece.. was not in contact anymore

Now - is corroded

----

What do you guys say to this? My engine sound changed
More tough, much louder and nice tone. Makes you say this is engine when you floor it.
Sounds so nice can't stop flooring it.
And change is so noticeable, even friend noticed it.
But why or how?

Taking off is much faster now and the second when you downshift and hit the paddle. Perfect, so fast..answers quickly
I was waiting this much difference after those mounts.

I'll post pics at home

Video i took this morning

Thanks for the merge SB
Yeah kind of...but good to have a technician friend of dad

I also fixed my license plate bulb. Connected the left wire to the right one, the one that was working.

Lovely winter is back finally, no more humid...did 360 miles per tank.
This is pretty good for me highway and city mix because I just can't drive slow and can't stop flooring that pedal.

Other thing kept us busy was we bought CLK320 to a friend.
A6 2.7T and 325ci still here, this is another friend.
We don't know how we bought auto but I guess it's a benz thing that pulled us haha
well...w208 is the best CLK that sits on the road if you ask us... not stock look of course

Installed the HID 5k at 3.30am in the morning
Fogs just arrived today 5k
LED's for every amber bulb on the way
Rims arrived today to friends shop
Tires on the way
Deciding on the brake kit
K&N filter
New cabin filter
Replaced oil + filter.. Mobil synthetic
Will replace spark plugs
Removed the front license but will get nice bumpers after winter + spoiler
Also started to tint 20%

Rims we got..18"

XLR8 Engine mounts

Thank you sir..
finally yeah, car was begging for it.
So far so good, has vibration on the steering at idle but we'll see, might be because rear one is not replaced yet.

Oh also will do the 3rd drain and fill redline this weekend too.
If I also find out what's draining the battery too.... happiest man ever

Cabin does vibrate a little
It was crazy the day we swapped it, now it's kind of ok
I was waiting to get used to it but vibration did actually got lower

Might be because it's not even. Will see after replacing the rear one too.
Will tighten the front ones again, this weekend.

Sorry a little off topic. What kind of bulbs you running in the FX? May I suggest a clear lens swap for the FX!

Wow, those bushings were trashed. Car is looking good btw.

You would have to pair the FX with FX-r clear lens. Another nice addition would be replace the bulbs with 66240 Osram CBI's

Took some videos

Because of this video, forgot to take picture of the 11000 miles
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-1m...e_gdata_player

and M3 Sedan in front, sounded sexy as hell
R32 was crazy loud

120 on a 55 road

Didn't even check the speed with that M3

^^^ i do 100 when am in a hurry but otherwise i just do 70-80...

there is a ticket for going 80 in a 55 but not how fast you get to 60

the only reason i slowed down is because am married now and i rather take 10 more minutes but i would surely get home to my wife

Are you going to pay? noooo
Did you remove the tints? nooooooooooooo
Why are you here? I have appointment

What color did you paint it?
Did you do anyhing to rear end? Finishing the Type-S look?

Upload you pictures to photobucket.com
copy the link of the images to here

You were asking about the offset license plate holder right?
