Why were you the only person with your trunk open???
I know I said it already but that install is Cleaannnn! Even the whole car is clean. I would show off my hard work too.
ps. I recieved my front components yesterday, and the guy at Sonic Electronix called me lastnight to update me that the sub is on its way I took the speakers out of the box and just stared at them when the UPS guy dropped them off LOL

As for today, I just received a lil package and in the package was a lil bling or accessory jewelry for the TL ~ DRAG NeoChrome Ext lugs. (sorry, I am not the baller to go and buy the KICS at $150-200+ for something I am not sure I would even like...) But not bad at all, eh?
Now remember, these where purchase to go with or match my next mod

In combination of the 2013 RDX caliper covers & my calipers I will be painting them to match this theme ~

I really need to move on to something else because I am getting very frustrated with the audio set up and its issues at this point. Immediate issue within a single song my Hi/Mids go into safe mode and go muzzled. But before that, they sound GREAT! Assuming they are getting too much amp power is the reason, I am not pleased with the RAINBOWS at this moment since I only have the gain turned up 1/8 and everything set to have the max listening volume at 33 out of 40 stock HU. I find that to be a lil sensitive for some supposedly impressive set. Then last, I still have the thermal shut down from the amp... I will keep farting with it till I find a sweet spot for the amp GAIN, Amp EQ & Matrix volts.

LOL! Nah Man, No more kids over here! Not possible. Even with PROJECT Mu After our baby in May 07,2012 he almost took her life after labor, so they had to do a partial Histo. to save her from bleeding to death. So no more kids. Although, that may be a good thing nowadays

I believe the worse of it has already past this morning. But we are expected to get heavy rain and mild wind gusts on and off for the next 2-3 days since the entire outside of the Hurricane brushed the bay here....We were extremely LUCKY! Tampa has dodged ANOTHER bullet!

Here we go... Didn't want to go as BOLD as Rockstar143 and his COPPER engine panels... Although, it looks so bad ass!
Here is my attempt following his idea and sprucing up the engine panels instead of removing em like I did for months now since they were so scuffed and hideous looking. To give you guys an idea, I don't plan on doing the entire engine panels. I am going to start off with only the immediate engine cover in Duplicolors TORQUE N' TEAL and restore the rest of the engine panels to a flat black or gunmetal grey, kinda carrying the exterior design into the engine bay. The metal (IM) intake manifold cover on top will be painted black with the verbiage ACURA 3.2 VTEC matching Teal....I think it will be amazing! Now here is the start of it all starting with the immediate engine cover.
"Project Mu" THEME
Scuff with a scuff pad & water:
(Not pictured) Wash with mild soap, rinse thoroughly and dry. Next step rub down thoroughly with a cloth and alcohol cleansing of any debris and remaining contaminants.
High Heat Primer, approx 2 light coats:
Now paint:
Clear & Allow dry:
Wah~Lah! ...what you guys think so far?

Excellent work, Jay.
I found it very easy to work with and immediately rewarding to look at. I love the Teal on black, man.
I can't wait to see the intake plate in black with the blue letters...I would suggest you do the teal letters first...let that dry, then tape off and sand all the rest of the cover making sure to sand off the overspray...then do your black. Sand everything prior to painting...and do it all while off the car, you can have that cover off in 2 minutes.
