^^^ not sure if Plastic dip holds heat...if it does, then you will definitely loose power as the CAI will be sucking in HOT air...

now if you dont care about power, I say plastic dip that bish !!!

Yea thats what I was afraid of. Don't want to lose power, even though it may not be very noticeable. I want to say that the can said it was a insulator. Now it may insulate from electric shock and not heat since its used on tool handles, but I'm not sure and I don't have the can with me.

Actually now that I think about it, I would probably only do the part thats visible. So only half of it would be plasti dipped.

Yesterday I was able to get the Coilovers, CAI and front lip on. I only have 2 phone pics for you guys right now.

Today I'm finishing installing the rest of the aspec kit, adjusting the coil overs (I have to raise them a little), plasti dip the CAI, Install the rims and last but not least wash her!

Thanks guys! I absolutely love how it turned out!

I had to take those wheels off for now because it was rubbing really bad. I'll have to roll the rear fenders then I should be good to go!

I Might be able to get a photo shoot in this week, but most likely not until next weekend.

Were you able to get them to fit with just a fender roll? My wheels and tires are pretty much the same specs (mine are 19's though) and the rear rub like crazy.

I haven't tried yet. I have to hunt down a roller, then find the time to do it. I'm hoping to be able to do it this weekend.

Its rubbing where the factory roll stops, so I was just going to continue the same roll all the way around.

Heres some dirty car pictures guys.

Also, my fronts are rubbing even after rolling the fender and cutting the tab. I have 235 tire but I'm not buying new 225 tires. What are my other options? Just add some camber or fender pull, correct?

Yes sir, that's the offset with those wheels, right? Yeah, you'd have to get a camber kit and dial in negative...even a 225 looks like it'll still rub.

That said, she looks NICCEEEEEE

I remember reading about camber kits but have forgotten everything

I think the skunk 2 ones are the ones to get, is that correct? Or are the Ingalls better?

And the car has come out great! Still some other things I'd like to do but thats not until next year. The compliments are greatly appreciated!! Thanks guys!

You're not supposed to compliment your own car!
LMAO...okay, any camber kit that allows you to dial it in a bit...even the balljoint ones do that...you'll eat tire, but you're limited on options to get that fat ass tire behind the fender to stop rubbing.

Lmao I know!! But it came out much better than I was expecting and I'm very happy with the end result!

I will do some research and pick something up in the near future. The sound makes me cringe every time I hear it

Damm, the red on the wheels looks great with WDP and the white brembos complement the black on the wheels very nicely.

You'll get used to the noise, make sure it's not just the fender liner...that is a sacrificial lamb, unfortunately. Also doesn't damage the tire.

Thanks guys! I'm thinking about plasti dipping and painting the rims next year because the paint is very soft and scratches/chips very easily

Yea, my last car's rims rubbed too, I just hate the sound! The sound of it rubbing the liner is much nicer to listen to than when it rubs the fender. Especially since its not damaging my tires!

I think I will acquire the camber kit over the winter and install in the the spring, since these rims will be on for only a few more months, then the snows will be on

Thanks! I've actually been thinking about changing the colour of the brembos, cause the white is hard to keep clean
