I'll see what I can do tomorrow!! I'll try and get a day and night time video for ya. But so far I highly recommend them! They are pricey but I think they are worth the money. Just wait for a coupon code!

I bought acura centre caps off ebay. I just popped the emblem off, then wrapped them with dinoc and put the emblems back on. Didn't take very long and it was really easy to do!

Well no video today, sorry GP! I will defiantly get one up within a week or so! My reading week is next week so for sure next week. But until then, here are some pictures to hold you guys over!

Just seeing what the lugs and centre caps will look like. I still need to heat the caps up and bend the tabs in so they fit. http://www.flickr.com/photos/81740506@N03/8490557952/http://www.flickr.com/photos/81740506@N03/8490557952/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/81740506@N03/, on Flickr

Thanks Steven! I'm very happy with how everything is coming together. It's all coming together way better than I expected!

Ya ya, I know I know, everyone likes to be teased a little though right!?

Everything should be on the car in about a month or so if weather, time and finances can cooperate with each other!

And heres a daytime video of the V3's. Please excuse the dirty car once again, I'm hoping to give her a bath tomorrow and also have a nighttime video up!

Had to bring the car in for service today and they gave me a loaner....A 2013 ILX.

It wasn't a bad car, but I don't think I would buy one. The seats were comfy, the ride was nice and I'm sure it gets good gas milage due to it being a 4 banger. I also really liked the keyless entry and push button start. I thought they were cool little features! The things I didn't like were that it felt gutless. Obviously its not going to throw you back into your seat but even when you got on it it didn't want to go! The steering was very light. could probably steer it with one finger! You didn't really get to feel the road either. The interior was not bad. It looked nice but also looked a little cheap at the same time.

I guess it depends on what you're looking for in a car. If you're looking for a nicer looking car that will get good gas milage then this is probably for you! I'm more into the driving experience though. The feeling of the road the power etc.

Dang, I wish our TL's had light steering, when I'm stopped and turning, it's a bitch to turn!

Oh I'm not saying its a bad car! I guess my little review makes it sound that way. I actually didn't mind having it for the day but once I got back into my TL there was a HUGE difference and I was happy to be back in it! I would have really liked to get a TL with SHAWD to try out since I've heard good things about the SHAWD, maybe next time!

Here are some pictures of the plate frame on the front. I cut a piece of plexiglass and put it in there as well to prevent rock chips on the plate which will then lead to it rusting.

I wasn't meaning the ILX was bad either, just wish our TL's weren't so hard to turn when stopped.

D-Dee,

Looking at that CF license plate holder, the screws stick out like a sore thumb. On eBay, I got to ACURA logo'd screw caps/covers. You might consider that-just so the screws don't show so much....they might help the overall look!

Wow those are some big compliments! Thanks a lot guys! Its much appreciated!

On a side note, does anyone know if the XM antenna's are interchangeable? I remember seeing something about it but can't find any info on it now.

I wrapped mine with carbon fiber dinoc but I'm not feeling the look and I don't want to wrap it again! So I'm looking at a NBP antenna on ebay right now. Just want to make sure its plug and play before I pull the trigger on it!

Looks great! Congrats

The XM antennas are interchangeable. You'll need to remove the rear dome lights to access the bolt that holds the antenna on as well as the clip that connects the wires. It's a pain the ass but doable
