A Couple of Mine :Fall
Wouldn't let me edit my last comment, so I will post another.
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate criticism, but only when it is founded and constructive. If you don't like it, explain why before I take you seriously.

Looking good man!
I very new to HDR myself so I understand your frustration with having the normal pictures turnout a little better than the regular ones.
Check out my thread with my HDR pictures here: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-photograph-gallery-96/fresh-wash-attempted-hdr-shots-754107/
Like erick3 said, maybe next time try -2, 0, +2 on the exposures. That's what I did for my pictures and they turned out a little more vibrant than yours. Don't get me wrong though, your pictures look good! I'm just trying to help you out as much as I can

Thanks guys! This is the kind of criticism I was talking about. (Constructive and good).
I will say that I am not a fan of the extreme HDR stuff. I like more mild uses of it, but I get where you are coming from.
Getting good shots of cars is very difficult. I have sold many photographs before at shows, but I am usually doing nature/outdoor photography. HDR is somewhat new to me, as I haven't really explored it too much. As I said, I don't like the +2, 0 -2 extremely with crazy contrast, but I see what you guys mean now.

I'm no pro but HDR does take some getting used to. Just keep experimenting and you will get a hang of it. I picked the sunniest day outside to take my pictures. I think you were in a spot with not a lot of sun and shadows, and that didn't help the pictures.
What kind of camera were you using? And any plans for the TL?
Oh and get some Bar Keepers Friend and clean those exhaust tips

TL is staying bone stock. Has window tint and that's all.
Camera is Canon EOS 30D with a Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 lens. I have had it for a couple years andit has more than paid for itself just from photos I have sold.

Wheres the HDR in it? High Dynamic Range means pretty much theres a range of lighting like dark shadows and and blown out highlights, just because they look like cartoons doesnt mean its an HDR image, just an FYI.
Nice car btw, just need to lower it

of course, those lens are thousands of dollars, but I read our lenses were supposed to be almost identical in picture quality. I just can't figure out how to blur out the background beyond whatever object I'm shooting. ANY tips for me Pointer?
Ya know, I might as well ask...I've never actually DONE HDR, but I've heard of people using it, discussing it, etc. What do you use? CS3/4? I thought there was supposed to be an "HDR button," but I can't seem to find it under any of my Photoshop 3 menus...
PS Is there a way for your to pop some more contrast into those HDR pictures? Adjust gamma and up contrast? Thinking that that would help a lot! ...maybe?

Pointer, I'm going to complete get away from the HDR line of conversation because I can't speak to it well. But since you're new to Acurazine-welcome and please join our Silver TL Social Group at:

That is my favorite too. As fun as that car is to shoot, it's way more fun to drive.
For anyone wondering. 1976 Porsche 991S Targa. 2.7 motor is swapped for a 3.2, Recaro seats, and a couple other goodies.

Two totally different kinds of cars, but that Porsche is the funnest car I have ever driven. (This list includes other newer Porsches, M3, G35, G37, 370Z, Mercedes C, Audi A4, BMW Z4, and more.) That thing is straight scary it's so fast. And corners better too.
When my brother in law drives it I recommend having a clean pair of shorts.
