Every time I'm home from school and want to wash my car, it's supposed to rain. Plus the nearest car wash to campus is 15 minutes away so that's a waste of time and gas anyway.

The car didn't look too bad until I actually started washing it. The hood was two totally different shades of white

No need to worry about having a car wash or a hose nearby. Fill the buckets up in your shower (I use warm water) and carry them out to the car. Wash as normal, dry, QD, done. I bought the big bottle of ONR, it's about $30 online. Ive had it for over a year and still have about 1/3 left.

Oh, and theres a 70% chance of rain Wednesday. Im not washing the car

National Meet location update:

I've looked at 2 other places (besides the Kansas Speedway). The Independence Events Center wants us to have $1 million liability suite...skip that. I've got another idea I'll be working on tomorrow.

Tyler, try Griot's Garage Spray-On Car Wash. Just as good as ONR and a hell of a lot easier, quicker, funner.

The past 12 months I was on a different contract, so I was staying somewhat local @ ~500 miles a week. The year before that though, 800miles a week was a slow week. Thankfully for my pockets, I switched back to my old contract, so now Im driving all over the place again.

I averaged 35 mpg for 8 miles on the way home from the gas station. Baller.

I spend a lot of time on the highway at 70-80mph. But I put my foot in it whenever I can. My worst tank ever was 21mpg. That was in NY on the old 3.2l. My average over ownership is 26.7mpg.

Everything was well documented on my car from the previous owner and he never indicated having the air filter changed, ever. That's over 130k miles of driving. Might be time for me to have a look

My worst is 17MPG...my best is 26 (sustained)...but in boring FL...it's hard not to do 85 mph which kills mpg even on the highway.

Tyler, you should deff try ONR. It is the shit, takes about 30 min to wash the whole car and it doesn't scratch the paint or anything. Gonna miss you at the meet, we need more WDP.
