I dated a girl in high school that was a little "too throaty".
Gawd, I miss her.

Tyler...you shoulda made the poor man's CAI. Looks OEM, but gets that extra air. You have exhaust...so you need to let that baby breath from the intake too!

Throaty

Damn that looks great! The stock intake is doing just fine right now but I might look into doing what you did.

Well I did something today that was MUCH needed, cleaning my rear calipers. For some reason the left caliper wasn't bad at all but the right was covered in rust.

To complete this task, I used this Dremel that Santa Claus brought me...

Dat rust

Top half done, bottom untouched...

All done

Since the wheels were off, I cleaned them up a bit. Luckily for me, this gross shit came off easily with Goo Gone...

Dat width doeeeeee...

Dat brake dust a doe doeeeeeeee Don't worry, they are clean now

Thanks Anil! For some reason the driver's side caliper had nearly no rust but the passenger side was absolutely coated in rust. So dumb.

Thanks John!

Indeed I have but I don't want them to say "Acura" on them, therefore I would have to strip down the one side and repaint. Not a hard task but not a very important one at the present time.

Nicely done, Tyler. Glad to see you got motivated. So did you just wheel brush the rust off? Or paint over that after you were done? Hard to tell.

No paint at all! I just used the Dremel to get the rust off and that's it!

But now you gave it a bare metallic surface to come back on! You should dremel, then wipe down with IPA, then hit it with silver or black high temp glossy paint. Or do the RDX covers, I guess.

Thanks Gus! I love the covers but going back to school doesn't give me the time or resources to paint and install them.

I did all 4 calipers a few years ago but the rear ones were replaced, therefore only the front ones are currently black. Either I'll paint the rear ones black to match the front or I'll remove the paint on the front ones with mah Dremel and do the RDX calipers.

Whatever I do, I'm waiting until it's warmer outside

Cool story bro

If I wasn't heading back to school tomorrow, I would paint them, but eff it. This will be a good spring break project
