SO i guess with that being said, the only suggestion I have is to order some parts for your TL. She might have an attitude like my girlfriend's lexus has and just wants some attention and TLC. Then she might stop flickering.

Replace the bulbs with 8K bulbs.

They're still going to flicker and you won't be able to see shit, but they'll look good.

That is really odd, Tyler. Swap bulbs and see if the problem follows...might be a good time for an upgrade. Or at least see whether or not it's the ballast having an issue. As far as the oem amp...I know the pain of that, it's SO annoying.

C'mon man! Just spend the ~$80 for a replacement amp. I was going insane driving my car until I replaced it.

at these replies

And that is very weird why your light would flicker only when turning

Mine flicker when I first turn them on, like they're waking up I kinda like it. That's normal for HID's though, right?

You have 4300Ks, right? The TL and TSXs projector housings seem to be one of the best in the business, not sure how you'd upgrade from that.

Eye haz Kaixen 6000k bulbs right now. Never had a problem before

I guess I'll have to see if a wire or something is loose. I'm so lazy

The stock amp gives a nasty static noise on every input and is especially bad when it's cold outside. I hate it.

Austin gtfo with S2k pictures

As many of you know, I'm heading to VA tonight to attend the Richmond C&C with Morgan (civicdrivr) tomorrow as well as the Great Falls meet on Sunday. Lots of pictures will be posted

Thanks Austin.

I got to Morgan's a little over an hour ago. The TL and his FR-S are sharing the garage and the TL looks effing huge compared to the Sigh-on.

Morgan and I went to the Richmond C&C this morning. The weather wasn't the best but still a decent turn out! These pictures aren't in any specific order.

As you can see, the Aventador was my favorite car out there. It was quite foggy so picture taking wasn't ideal but not terrible either. You'll notice in a few picutres that there's a circle of glare towards the bottom in the middle. I guess I didn't clean the lens thouroughly before using it and that screwed up a lot of my shots

Also, I recently got a new MacBook Pro, and purchased Lightroom 4 with it. The following shots were edited in LR.

I tried not to go too crazy with the editing. You'll notice that a few were messed with more than others but overall I'm happy with the results. This was the first time using the program.

Tomorrow I'm attending the Great Falls meet in VA! Stay tuned for coverage of that

I wish I could put you in a time machine and take the TODAY Tyler back to when we met so you could take some shots like these instead of those wack azz amateur shots you burdened me with that fateful day over a year ago.

I hope you and Morgan have a kick azz time, buddy. I want to fk that Lambo. Hard...from the back, thanks.

Tyler, the issue with the flickering is your igniters. My 2G was doing the same. That electrical grease/lube somewhat helped, but you will need new ones eventually. New ones are a pretty penny. See if you can find some used.

Hai everyone. Thanks for the comments! I'm about to head to class so I'm in a rush to type this

C&C was awesome despite the heavy fog that ended up staying around all weekend.

The Great Falls meet was great (pun intended)! I would guess there were 30-40 cars there and I had a chance to meet a lot of people in person including ebelp (John), The Machine (Chip), and SickTLS (Glenn). I saved about 110 photos and will be editing them today. In all I drove about 600 miles this weekend so I'm pretty damn tired.

I'm absolutely in love with LR4. I think I'll be editing all of my pictures with that program from here on out.

Yeah I had a K&N intake and hated it. It was way too loud and drew too much attention. I heard it more than I did my exhaust and nothing tramples my ATLP

A little off topic, but I've read online that LightRoom 4 is best for RAW shots and PhotoShoppe is better for non-RAW photos.....what do you think?

My pro buddy agrees with this very much. If you look at my Ferrari pic, you can see banding in the sky on the left side, if I had shot that in RAW, it would not have turned out like that.

RAW captures much more information than jgp because the camera processes the picture for you (jpg) and then compresses it.

RAW offers much more room for editing and you must develop the photo yourself. Depending if you're up for it, you can make a MUCH better picture than the camera can, but the camera does a pretty fine job.

Hope that helped
