I'm not a fan of the visors at all, whether they are colormatched or not.
Anyways, today was full of fail. I Plastidipped the rear bar above the plate and the whole grill. Honestly I'm in love with the grill, it turned out great. I did the damn rear bar twice and every time I was peeling the excess, I would somehow remove some off of the bar. I finally said the hell with it. I'll tackle it some other time.

Oh I waited almost 45 minutes before peeling the rear.
What happened is that the tape was too close to the bar so when I peeled up the tape, it pulled the dip off of the bar at the same time. I did it twice and I was too fed up to do it again.

I was having a similar issue when I did the chrome trim around my windows. You have to angle the tape just right and pull off slowly.
A few times I actually peeled while it was still wet, so it didnt have time to turn tacky and pull up the rest.

run a blade around the edge prior to peeling...that's what I did on my front engine cover...looking forward to seeing the outcome.
Honestly, I always thought the window visors sucked...till I got them. Now, I actually enjoy the extra lines they add that flow with the car...plus, being able to roll with the windows slightly down when raining is awesome.

I have nothing against the visors themselves, but the color matched visors look tacky.

Oh, gotcha...
Well, in my case, Anil actually thought mine were color matched because of the lighting in the picture. On NBP they definitely flow better than on other colors since they don't introduce another color to the car. Wasn't sure about the WDP but thought it COULD be good.
Anil, no sir, you didn't miss anything. I got backups of every cover for my engine except the front one. I originally painted them all but that one...after some convincing I taped up the top area, then plasti dipped, then added the bronze...then ran an xacto knife around to and peeled the extra PD.

Yeah I've thought about making the A silver again BUT it would be the only emblem on my car that isn't black and it would be the only silver piece on the body as well. For those two reasons I'm going to keep it black.
Haha no worries man. It's just my OCD kicking in.
And thanks!
I'm going to do something else to the car tomorrow after attempting the rear bar. You shall see

I suddenly have deja vu. Nice grill...totally digging the look on WDP. I'm not a big fan of the blacked out grill on darker paint.
