Not sure if I do or not haha. I like it because it's different but it's not really the style I would have chosen. Maybe I'll have it redone some day but I can't justify spending the money on it.

If anyone doesn't already know, I was given free tickets to attend the SEMA show. I was selected out of thousands who are involved with the car community and are active on a car fourm. I guess being a post whore has it's advantages . It's in Vegas so I really need to watch how much money I spend between now and there.

Anyways, back to our progress this afternoon. Everything was going really great until the sky fucking fell out



Matt was busy with my car so I got a little creative with his car.



Matt doesn't visit Acurazine often but his username mglum. He does effing great work, my paint has never looked so good. Big thanks to him for bringing my car back to life! Here he is doin' work. Oh and yeah the car was moved into the garage because of the rain.



And I finally put them on



The colors aren't an exact match but this is how I feel about that.



They look better than no centercaps at all and I'm happy with how they turned out. Nothing is perfect in life so I'm just glad the Plastidip project turned out as planned.

Matt and I, along with numerous other Acurazine members, will be attending a meet tomorrow in Charlotte. Cars and Coffee in the morning and then an Acurazine meet afterwards. Keep an eye out for pictures :wink:

And yes I'll be responding to everyone's previous posts as promised. Don't worry, I didn't forget about yall.

I know this thread is getting pretty lengthy. It's fun to go back and reminisce for a while though.

Make sure your 105k serivce has been done. That includes the replacement of the timing belt which is VERY important. Usually around that time the water pump and tensioner belt are both replaced.

Visually check the dashboard for any discoloration and cracks and same for the seats.

Daniel, the guy you met up with at the KS meet with the 06 NBP TL, sent two caps to me. Long story short I traded him my 04 Gunmetal caps for a set of his Type-S ones. I told him about my project and he sent me back the gunmetal ones

After December there will be no mods

I'll be moving an hour south and attending school. I won't be working so I'll have no source of income to pour into the car.

Tyler...went to StanceNation meet today...over 300 cars...honestly, I went home wishing I hadn't bothered modding at all...so much money dumped into these car and mine looked like I had nothing done to it. Kinda wished I had a nice fast rwd bells and whistles stock car. My fiance says I'm full of shit and I'd be modding THAT car in about a week of owning it.

I like my TL, don't get me wrong, but I'm just bored with it. Doing little things like centercaps keeps me entertained but only to a certain extent. I need to appreciate what I have, and I do, but I want to live it up in a 2-seater before I have kids.

I won't be getting rid of the TL. I've put too much damn money into it to let it go. Plus with having the recent 105k service done and such, it'll be running for a while. I'm not sure how much longer the tranny will last, but it's doing well as of right now.

Come on though, this thing is fawking sexy...

Engine covering:Actually looks pretty effin cool. PS, is that artistically painted or wrapped? I actually just bought a set of engine covers for 40 shipped to have a backup set (and all my tabs are broken). I'm thinking of having it all wrapped too.
