swoosh,sick indeed.
Steven Bell,i wish i could. I can barelly get one for myself.
DaeHanMeenGuk,thank you and thank you for such an amazing picture.Inspirational for sure.
Just a little background on how that little Honda became my dream car.
First encounter:
-Back in 2000 ,went to the honda dealer with my older brother to buy a used 1998 honda civic(manual) with only 8,000 miles. While they were doing the paper work, something catches my eye in the showroom. There she was in the showroom with the top down.Right away i asked if i could sit on it,they said "yes, but be very carefull". That first glance has stuck with me all these years.
-while working at a car dealer has a lot attendant in late 2001,got to drive a barelly used one.Was a 2000 black on black that had been involved in an accident, even so i tried financing it against my fathers advice and wasnt approved.
-Every time i went to the SEMA show there was always the mandatory stop by the s2000.
-While in school for honda/acura training i would spend lots of time looking and even using it as my training demo car a 2008 blue CR.(this car is still there with ridiculous low mileage)
So why am i ranting away.
I'm done wondering/wishing i had one.I'm going to do something about it.
Don't get it twisted the tl-s is not going nowhere, thats why i have to save the money to buy the s2000.(One of those deals i made with the wife)
Afther all these years i'm ready to take ownership of my "unicorn".....hint - Gone in 60 seconds

Dude, Tim was instrumental in finding me all the parts for my Aspec Kit. He didn't have all the parts (front lip, back lip, side skirts), but he looked all of the country and found both front and back lips for me! I called them both (with the phone numbers Tim provided for me) and got both pieces ordered!
I couldn't have done it without Tim!

Steven Bell,happy new year.
swoosh, got a quote on the windshield $250.00(installed ,also includes upper trim piece new).My deductabile is $750 so not worth that route.
truonghthe,c-pillar trim covers do have to came out.Square clip with the airbag letters pops out, then pry it out,2 other clips hold it.
Props again to Tim ,my kit is in route as we speak thru fedex.Should get it on the 10th of this month.

Small update
Fill up log:
20th fill up - 339 miles
21st fill up - 329 miles
22nd fill up - 328 miles
23rd fill up - 282 miles
24th fill up - 304 miles
Needless to say cold weather kills those mpg's.
400 miles on a full tank will have to wait untill warmer days.

Are you heavy on the gas pedal? I live in NJ as well and I average about 345 to 360 miles per tank for just mainly around the town driving with little highway. I have reached and this is during the cold months my highest mpt (miles per tank) was 388 but that was when I was driving to Philly, NYC, and Morristown so I was half around town and half highway. I live in Central Jersey so each of those drives were an hour to two hours for me.

ShadowAcura, not heavy on the foot at all.My commute is 75% highway and 25% city.
I just have to find the problem and fix it.
With a couple more twicks i'll get there.
Another small little surprise....

nice...
looks like a OEM Type S spoiler
and for 75% highway and 25% city, 375-ish is not bad at all....another thing which MPT (Miles Per Tank) depends is how much you put in....
you can never compare MPT because people top off different amounts and different gas nozzles have different thresholds for stopping....the best way to find MPG is how much you fill in AFTER the drive....
so say you fill up 15 gallons....drive 200 miles and fill up 10 gallons....your MPG is 20....do not calculate MPG with initial fill up....you will always get the wrong amount

swoosh
looks like a OEM Type S spoiler ...with black double sided tape sticking out. Not cool.
Honestly i'm not worried about getting 400 miles out of a tank, because i know it can do it.
All i got to do is get on the highway and let it roll baby roll. lol

Yup it's the type-s A-Spec kit, arrived flawless. No damage from the shipping(even though the box looks like crap).Mad props for all of you that made it easier for me.Thank you.Tim is the men.
Wont be putting it on, any time soon.Way to cold out there. When i do, i'll post step by step pics and how to?
I think i'm finally, narrowing down the whole MPG issue:
-Still got 2 wheels(in rear) slightly bent. = Ressistance
-I dont always use the same premium gas. = ECM (has to adapt/adjust every time i fill up)
-I do use my cruise control on the highway a lot.(to maintain speed) = ??? some of you say cruise control not so good.
-I'm suspecting the fuel pump or the info mid not so accurate.I'll explain:
The fuel tanks capacity on this car is about 17.1 gallons .
The most i've ever manage to burn was 16 gallons.(i've driven it sometimes over 60 miles afther the low gas light comes on.)Which brings me to the other concern.
When displaying the range miles only, the low gas light never comes on at the same miles to empty.(the light will come on anywhere from 45 miles to 19 miles to empty)
Is this normal?Does anyone else notice this at all?Shouldn't it always come at the same miles to empty?
-I heard they have gas saving tires out there,Michellin. Will look into it.

E/A the only tires which will save you gas are LRR (Low Rolling Resistance)....just stay with a regular tire with a decent tread-wear and A/A rating....
I dont use cruise control....i dont like it LOL....if I see a downhill, i take my foot off the gas and slightly tap the throttle to maintain the speed....when i see a uphill coming....i speed up and light tap the throttle uphill....
