My e-brake boot just arrived from leatherseats.com. it's 100% real leather with matching dove gray stitching. What's odd about this boot is the design is different from the other one I got from redline goods. The sales rep said this boot gets installed the same way the oem one is. Needless to say once I have enough time, I'll tackle this. It will complete the look for sure.
I decided to uncover sleeping beauty and install the new leather boot for the e-brake. I haven't seen or started my TL since it went to the detailing shop. The install was easy and smooth. I removed the old boot in order to do the install correctly. For shits and giggles installed the redline Goods boot and glad I didn't go with it. The one from leather seats.com was perfect. Matches nicely and the quality is top notch. I used double sided velcro instead of staples to secure the bottom of the leather boot. There was no way to staple it without removing the entire unit.

Always appreciate the love! This is the 1st year I decided not to put the WORKS on. I just don't have the time to enjoy the car or go to any shows. I'm incredibly busy with work. I wanted to take the TL out for a drive today but ended up doing paper work for the business.

All is good. Hope the same for you. Car is still there. Still not running. Finally going to fix my tranny after 3 years of letting it sit broken. Working from home so I dont drive much these days, not that I ever drove it much anyways... buying the parts this week so hopefully riding around in the next 2 weeks or so. Maybe i'll head North and catch up with you.

All is well just incredibly busy with work. Damn dude.. I didn't know! I can't ever say I've seen a 6MT take a shit other than the 3rd gen synchro issue. I'm glad you got the parts to do the repair! I'm sure you will be thrilled once it's all said and done! For sure! I'm all over NJ so next time in in central NJ, i'll message you.

the blue TL-S exploded on Austin after he bought it for me...
I'm thinking that Justin JJH trying to drive that stage 3 clutch while not
adjusting the pedal to accommodate the NON self adjusting clutch finally
did it in. When I arrived in Ohio and tried to put it into gear...***CRUNCH***

As long as it's not in Heckscher State Park!! LOL. I think i've heard of 3-4 people dying going to that meet location. I remember that 2 lane straightaway and we we flying... the drive back was worse in traffic and doing what I NOW call dumb $hit... Those days are gone. I guess the new thing is having a tune to 2-step / backfire cuz I all i hear is BANG BANG BANG all day long on the road.. And everyone has a turbo these days...
I'll hopefully be good for an Acurazine meet and catchup with some of the old timers. Nothing crazy. Closing in on 37 these days.

No way, I'm way smarter than that...I bought the car and paid him FIRST then flew up there to drive it home only to find it was barely drivable until we messed with it at his mechanic's shop.

I loved those Heckscher State Park meets til as you said, a few died. That one that hit home was secondtonone. I knew him from my maxima.org days. I left Acura almost 10 years ago. I walked away and never looked back. I run a business now so i'm very busy this year. I just started a new project in Bridgewater and do a lot of calls in central NJ. My number is still the same. Shoot me a text any time man! I'll let you know next time i'm around.
