Sorry I'm joining the conversation so late... The Carbon FIber Hood on the RoJa Sema TL is made by Versus Motorsports. I saw it in person at the Sema Show in last November. However, what ever you guys do don't purchase the Versus Hood. I talked to Garret from Versus at the Sema Show in November. I let him know that I was a Custom Shop Owner and I drove a TL. I wanted to get the hood and possibly the body kit for my car which is also a show car for my store. On November 20th or so 2004 I sent a certifited check to Versus. I told Garrett that I needed it by Feburary for a Big Car show in my area. Two weeks before the show, he called to tell me that the hood had shipped. The following week I called back to get a tracking number there was no hood in sight. After leaving a bunch of messages, I finally got a hold of Garett three days before show time. At this point, Garrett informed me that they were unable to build the hood and didn't know when they would produce one.Great plaining on thier part, not to mention the lack of communication. At this point I was unable to seek a replacement. Lastly, it took Versus almost another month and a few dozen calls to refund my payment, which was in full. I would wait for VIS to produce a Carbon Fiber Hood if you are looking for a hassel free experience. Versus is probably the worst company that I have ever delt with in my business experiences.

jorgebs...thanks for the insight concerning the versus motorsports ordeal. im sorry to hear everything didnt come though. i had to cross my fingers on the custom carbons hood.
Do you know any specifics about that body kit, in particular the front bumper? i need a center air dam and that kit features one.
What is the name of your shop?

ACCURATEin: My shop is Auto & Truck Outfitters in Towson and White Marsh, MD. As for the body kit, I don't think its being produced. It is also a Versus Motorsport product. At the time when I tried to order thier hood, I also inquired about the body kit. The feeling I got was that they had not set a production date or even committed to building them.

I think that if your going to go with that carbon fiber lip, you might as well get the carbon fiber fuel door lid, that thing looks pretty hot. I ordered a 10 feet by 10 feet strip of carbon fiber to do the modification to my rear liscence plate deck and the decklid spoiler, and I'm thinking of buying an OEM rear spoiler, and applying it to the black portion of it. I think it would look hot...

I attended the season opener battle of the imports car show today in Rockingham, NC. Took 1st place in the sport luxury class.
Heres a few pictures of rides that caught my eye.
*Emphasis is on the Altezza.
Interior shot...its not doing justice. Im gonna have to figure out a way to capture the fibers in the kit.

In Atlanta i was able to film a heavily modified NSX on I-85...reached speeds of 120 mph. It was difficult to focus on staying in the lane while using my right hand to swivel the camera in an effort to capture the NSX. That thing sounded good.

so do you get into races with guys, who look at your modified TL, and you film them, then give them tickets or something? I'm confused, do you work for the police or another agency?

For the car shows, I intend to install four blue police strobe light boxes. Picture that.

When i was dissecting the grille last summer it appeared to be connected to the bumper. Unless i'm an idiot!
If the grille is connected to the bumper, it is imperative to cut the grille to achieve the look of my design. An entirely new front bumper will have to be installed if cutting the OEM bumper is out of the question.
If you would like, I can take a closer look at it and confirm.
However, i highly recommend this modification to anyone trying to achieve the look.
More airflow to the radiator is another plus...due to the absence of a center lower air dam.

Changing the seats? I'm of course interested in seeing some pictures my friend. I gotta give it up you always find a way to make even your great looking TL look incomplete. After the brakes and the seats, any plans to change to the ronjon body kit or anything else to her?

I'm interested in the mugen front bumper. It doesn't feature a center air dam, but the stock front bumper has got to go. It makes me mad everytime i look at it. If its nice out tomorrow ill take some pictures and see what you think.
The supercharger is going on there as soon as its released.
Oh yeah, the black RAYS lugs nuts arrived today as well. I'll take pictures of those.

Lokius... I attempted to return your private message but it was declined due to the fact that you have exceeded the stored message limit or something of that nature.
To answer your question regarding the castle nut and center cap...there is no interference between the two. In regards to the 'special' VR center cap, im not sure if those will work on the monoblock series wheels. However, theres always a way to make things work.
Im sorry for the delay in picture posting...i've been busy running around getting some last minute goodies before HIN.
Recent mods are:
Custom VIS racing 2 piece design splitter.
Mesh is matte black.
APR carbon fiber canards. Univesal set A.
RAYS eng. extended lug nuts - black.
Calipers are painted with FOLIA TEC lacquer. Glossy black.
Hubs are painted matte black.
(2) Sparco Torinos - black.
Extended list of graphics.
Hood grille molding is wrapped in matte black vinyl.
Optima yellow top battery
HKS carbon Ti universal exhaust canister...on the way.
Possibly JL audio 13W7...
