Supercharging the TL
Popped the good ol' hood today and i noticed that the stupid White Plastic thinggy has completly come out from where its supposed to be. What exactly does this do and why does it come out from time to time??
This was taken last month at the NC meet as you can see it backing out. its the white thing near my orange dip stick

It may just be an "o-ring". the S/C pulley move at all? That part should be bolted down (the left side) to a bracket that had to be put in during install. Not good with descriptions. I will take some pictures.
So with the mods I currently have listed in my signature. What exactly would I need to get to have a successful installation? I've debated myself on the supercharger. Being 5AT and with no problems so far. I am very strict on my maintenance as is. Synthetic Oil baby, since I got it. Changed every fluid in the car. And I got like 113K now.
No issues. Plus if I had the supercharger couldn't I easily still just drive it regular?

Yes the thing with a SC is that you can litterally drive the car normally and you will forget its there. Its more like power on tap and IMO the ultimate sleeper because unlike a turbo we dont need a IC.
However knowing you have the extra power and with the beauutiful sound it emits you might find yourself a bit more on the pedal than you might expect.
Looking at your mods you will be fine with the exception of you might wanna get some PCD's and your aem will have to be modified if you wanna run CAI. Other than that its just the little things that you will need like gauges a new battery, and maybe better spark plugs if you wanna get serious Methanol Injection and the AEM F/ic but none are needed of those are truly needed to run it.
Hope this helps sorta Are you looking to get new or used? Personally i would get it used from a reputable member on here and use that extra 1k-1.5k for the extra stuff.

IC really isn't visible behind the bumper. The turbo makes an entirely different sound and you can control how loud it is by which intake you choose.
Back on Page 13 of this thread, I mentioned the Phormula Knock Monitor. I finally got mine installed. Below is a link that shows pics in Post #20.

Well everyone says anywhere in the 11's is the sweet spot. Not sure what you should expect with the tune but if i had to guess i would say 10.8-12.5 is where you wanna be. Cant wait for the dyno results
U running meth yet?

No meth yet. Colorado is very high in elevation, very thin air. I have a buddy that is running HBP on his accord for couple years now. I think
, i'll be fine without it.
As for the dyno, the TL is my daily driver and automatic transmission. Not really expecting a crazy whp/tq.

3.4" one. I would not recommend it unless you have a full exhaust and a good tune. HBP runs about 8-9 psi I would say this one runs about 7 psi. It all depends on how your car is set up also. A more free flowing exhaust will decrease boost.

That would give me 5-6.5 all day. Thats awesome gonna look into that. Yeah im wide open so i only get 3.5-4.5 if im lucky
Lol. Lots to say but I'm across the country with only my phone for internet access. Too damn slow to type anything.
For the CAI, in short, low restriction before the blower takes priority over inlet temp. If you can have both thats great.
If you install a knock guage like Inaccurate there will bbe no guessing of what is safe and what isn't. If you install the HBP and it shows no knock you're perfectly safe.
To the others, the HBP by itself won't kill the engine or blower. Its the accompanying knock that will kill the engine. Get rid of that and it will last a long time.
On the blower end you're spinning it 20% or whatever faster so it will wear out 20% quicker but should still last a long time.

The blower itself cannot handle the HBP, its too small and will harm the blower.

Will it require a smaller belt?
