Straight pipe?

Straight pipe?

What are everyones thoughts on straight piping my TL, instead of buying a full exhaust system.

You will get a ton of drone. What are you looking for in an exhaust note? We offer a full catback exhaust that is throaty at WOT but civil while cruising. It is also 100% stainless steel.

it will not sound good or look nice or provide much performance increase. cars need backpressure from the exhaust

Not true.

I can't speak for all cars, but I for sure can speak for the J-series engine in the TL. Having no back pressure provides a big increase in power throughout the powerband with no losses in low-rpm power.
