Great feedback so far. Mine will be arriving tomorrow, and I hope to get it installed Fri. afternoon. Perhaps I'll post a vid/sound clip for others who want to remain otherwise stock make a decision, as I will be performing no other exhaust mods.

Base ATLP + V3 = no rasp (only deep growl)
Car feels so much "lighter". You know the difference you feel when you turn the air conditioner off....it's like that but much better. It also seems to run at lower RPMs. Just more fluid, linear acceleration.
Mine is smelling a little burnt because my friend the mechanic put some silicone on the gasket....i know its not the plastic cover cause i cut the whole last strip out.
THose of you thinking about it.....don't think just send payment.
THose of you who need to sell your V1's or V2's to get this.....what r u waiting for, flood the BM already.

Thank you all for your pointers, I am thinking I will need to do a resonator regardless of whether I get the ATLP of RV6, the drone is no getting better and everyone says the Jpipe and HFC don't make much of a difference for that. I DO want the improved hp, just wanna keep the sound tame. Did any of you get a HFC yet?

Sooo, I picked up my v3 from FedEx today. Went to get it installed, and the shop marveled at the "pretty new pipe". However, they would not remove the 3rd cat due to GA state regulations. They did advise that they could modify the existing pipe, and in effect, move the 3rd cat back so that the v3 could fit as-is. My question - wouldn't that defeat some of the purpose of the v3, in just moving the cat back? How much would I lose by just moving it?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Yes, you would not get the full effect of this pipe with the third cat still in place. The third cat is pretty restrictive, and placing it further from the engine will keep it from heating properly and further impede flow. My suggestion is to find another shop that will do it for you, or try it yourself.

Can anyone recommend any shops in the ATL metro area? Please pm if you can do so.

received mine today, havent even had time to look under the car yet, but the new j-pipe looks great. One question how come only 2 gaskets ? i'm assuming you use them betwen the dual RV3 pipes and pre-cats, and there is a stock re-usable honda/Acura donut between the single end of the RV3 and rest of the stock exhaust. Extra bolts go between remaining rear stock exhaust flange and the single end of the RV3 ? Thanks guys just trying to get my fact straight before install this weekend.

Yep, check the Performance Parts and Modifications section for my DIY
There should be 3 gaskets, 2 for the precats, one for the cat back. 6 nuts, and 3 bolts/washers/nuts for the cat connection. Check carefully, my 2 for the precats were stuck together slightly.

This is what you should get in a box. I've been having my gf pack these, she promises to double check next time.
Are you missing the big one?
Did you go through all the paper? We usually wrap up the gaskets as well to keep them from getting bent. You should have a baggie.
