It has come to our attention that this part was possibly mislabeled. The exhaust has been checked for correct fitment, however, if installed with the incorrect labels it will not fit properly. Please double check to make sure this part is labeled correctly. We are terribly sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

I don't mean to be a jerk, but honestly, it was nice to include the labeling, but if you piece this together under the car, that merged muffler will be pretty obvious that it can only lean to one side to fit under the heat shield.

Rich, trust me, the fact that you even bothered to try and have it labeled is still very appreciated. A cut above, I say.

No wonder why it didnt make sense trying to follow the packet

any person with a decent brain can figure it out without the labels.
hell, I got everything lined up on the first try!

You don't have to remove the bumper to install an exhaust I guess

Rich, I'm interested in the setup but not the tips in this batch. I saw a set of dark grey/charcoal tips earlier in this thread and was wondering if you'll be offering them in the near future. I'm ready to place an order.

The black chrome isn't available because it didn't last...
correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm more excited to find out what's being done for the dedicated base tip!

After some extensive research and consulting the experts, we have decided not to offer the plating. In all honestly I can’t bring myself to put my name on something that won’t hold up. Instead of offering a black chrome tip we will be offering a fully polished stainless steel tip with the RV6 Performance logo etched into the side. This tip will stand up to the elements and can be brought back to a full luster with a simple polish like Blue Magic.

However for those that still want to go for the “black chrome” look we have found a safe do it yourself wand plating kit from Caswell. It will allow you to plate almost anything metal on your car using a wand. The best part is that if a spot wears or flakes off you can touch it up yourself with their kit.

It shows them as being available on the website for a flat cost. So I assume he still has some.

God damn I've been close! I want to get HFPCs first. About to PM Quan about his.

I want the dual, I want the sound, I don't want a type-s rear aspec lip!

Well, I'm still hoping that Rich is amenable to create something that'll be the "go to" base tip for aftermarket exhaust for the 3G.

Oh I thought that there was raspiness issues with the combination of the 3, not that the true dual solved the rasp from the PCD/JPipe combo.

I think I saw it before. It sounds great in the video, but I bet it even sounds better in person. Videos never do an exhaust justice. Does it sound ricey at all? Exotic? I don't know if I want to do this or go with a custom exhaust for a little bit more with my type-s tips.

And also, did you feel anything in terms of gains with the exhaust?

You can get just the type-s bumper. I am picking mine up next week for $400 painted.

I have some ideas in the works however the tooling for square tips is very expensive. Especially for both sides.
