If I had someone to help or that could video tape I would do it. There is too much wind here to set a camera down on the ground and hear exhaust.
If I had some help or get someone to do rolling video or something it might work.
I will see what I can figure out next week about some video???

i have pcd's and ive been debating hfcd since the time they came out, whats holding me back is longevity, how long will those cats last and if they do fail how would the warranty process go when its a third party (magnaflow).... just putting in my 2 cents. Any word on shipping yet richie?

Agreed, i only ask because if i find a good deal on an atlp v2 i may grab it and put on a high flow 3rd cat to reproduce the Hfpc sound, plus pcd is smaller so easier to work with when installin as far as clearance and wiggle room. thanks swoosh

^^^ just 1 thing to remember is....2 HFC's will reduce the rasp a lot more than 1 but you will gain a tad bit more from 1 HFC as 3rd cat and PCD's than 2 HFC's as precats and test pipe in place of a 3rd cat...

Honestly, compared to the stock cats, the HFPC is pretty easy to maneuver in there too. Given, not as easy as the PCD but it's all doable. I didn't want the smell or extra rasp so I went with a used set of the HFPC and am happy I did.

sometimes, when I'm home alone and feeling froggy. I like to "hold my horses".
I don't blame people for getting antsy...but I'm sure Richie is slaving away and as my good buddy ebelp mentioned to me yesterday...it ain't easy to type with welding gloves on.

its like 3rd time posting on here just wanting to see if he could update on progress for this month, since he said we should all have exhaust by end of jaunary. im just hoping i get exhaust this month been long wait, and now i just hate how my type s rear bumper looks with base exhaust. not trying to be pushy or anything reason why i am not emailing or calling him 24/7 would back him up even more.

We are done with 11 systems. The first 8 are in shipping being boxed up. 5 people have paid and we will be taking me remaining payments soon. Yes Tedward you will be getting one of the 11.
We are up to number 20 so you will be getting your exhaust next.

Some dick swiped my rear bumper during a reunion party in a campus parking lot. No note, just scratches.
new exhaust to go with some new paint? now that sounds alright.
Thanks for the update.

There might be more however my welder and polisher are busy with the holidays. Everyone on batch 2 should have an exhaust by the end of Jan. There are 15 more people on batch 2 and these 8 exhaust will bring it down to 7. There are 4 more systems partially completed.
Batch batch 3 is at 13 people and they wont get their exhaust until spring time. We have more components on order.

blah!
Apparently according to the guys at Optimum Opti-Coat shouldn't be affected by the heat coming off the exhaust so it should work. I guess I'll try it and find out. No harm
I like the idea of never having to really clean the exhaust and it always looks shiny. I'm likely going to polish all the piping when it arrives because I have nothing better to do.
