Exactly. I have stock cats. (Type S which have a lower cell count than base cats but no at low as HFPC's) and also the RV6 v3 j-pipe and is original Tru-dual exhaust.

No rasp whatsoever, a little bit of drone if going 50 mph in 6th gear going up a slight incline. Stuff like that, otherwise no drone at all.

Very happy with this exhaust took about 2 hours to install and that included jacking my car off the ground to make room and taking my time.

For the amount of money that you have paid other people to install parts for you, you could easily invest that money into tools and tool-boxes. That is what I did. Started with very basic stuff and now have thousands in tools, boxes and specialty tools mainly for Honda. Testing equipment and just random stuff that helps work on cars.

I have done all my own work after a shop charged 300 to install some coils once and I said never again. Now I can rebuild an engine down to replace brakes.

Motivation and willingness to learn and TRY. You can do it.

I meant WD40 for the rubber that slides over the hangers...
I use PB for sandwiches with jelly and also to loosen the corroded exhaust bolts.

under load, jeez!

Sounds like your brothers a dick. Why even spend all the money on installing? Just find another hobby. DIY is 90% the reason we mod cars around here. At least IMO

I'm catless and can barely notice the rasp

I'll get you guys a video tomorrow under load. The reason I haven't is cause no gopro. It'll be a recording from the drivers seat and off a Samsung s3.

Thats where I got mine. It really creeps into crevices.

Barely noticing rasp is not the same as not having rasp unfortunately.

You can get used to something but that doesn't mean it went away. Just saying.

Mine is scheduled for delivery tomorrow! Exactly 11 months to the day since putting the deposit down... Yeah, restless and kooky might be an understatement.

Side note - My bumper is finally getting painted after it got scratched over the holidays, so hopefully I'll be able to install tomorrow night or Saturday. Pics and (hopefully) video to come...

We have 10 exhaust in the works. Lets call it batch 2.5 it should cover all the late comers to batch 2 and and about 1/3 of batch 3. I am hoping to have batch 2.5 done mid March and batch 3 done late early May.

Sorry about the lack of updates. My welder is still working on away on the exhausts and other RV6 goodies. I have been busy planing RV6 V2 with CNC and 3D scanning capabilities. How would you guys like a affordable, practical turbo kit.

Oh Richie, you had me at hello.

And if you're talking about 3D capabilities that'll help you in making a dedicated base tip. Then let the heavens bless you for it.

If you're talking about an affordable and and reliable turbo kit, then I'm giddy.

All depends what "affordable" would look like, but I'm down for a reliable turbo set-up that works with Flashpro...

Also, would that include a custom LSD for us one-wheel-wonder AT folks??? Wishful thinking I know...
