Thanks for offering such great products.

Not doing many mods to my DD 04 TL, but will eventually do an RV6 V3 J-pipe and dual exhaust system. Glad the exhaust system came out. I was waiting for it and like your $100 off incentive to purchase both products.

We are half way done with August, but no update pics with Ti Tips

Hey Richie, any progress? You believe you mentioned earlier that you should have a batch comming by the end of August, is this still happening? or are you waiting on more exhuast tips to come in?

I'm moving the end of this month anyway, so i don't mind waiting a lil longer, just wondering if you have any pics

I am looking into black chrome, I admit it does look great. The current place I am looking at wants 3 months to do one batch.

I have so many tips I am tripping over them constantly. Here are a few, again the titanium look a little rough close up. I rather find a supplier with higher quality.

What do you guys think of the stainless tips? They would look great polished up or black chromed.

Not a fan of the stainless ones... sorry.

I say look into the Black Chrome ones previously mentioned. They looked so close to the Stock TL-S tips and would look great.

Personally, I would probably pull my deposit with what I am seeing so far. Keep up the search

Not feeling the ovals...but those semi-siamesed ones, in black chrome, that could work...

Those would be easy to make. Just have to get them black chrome coated. Does anyone know the diameter of the stock TL-s tips?

This is probably the worst rendition but it is what I have to work with.

Here is my eyeball estimation... please don't laugh

It is just to get the idea and my math may be a bit off. I would have a professional give you the correct information

As for the tips, I do like that style but I also like the angled tips that come with stock.

Hope it helps

Thanks for the sketch. Did you measure the dia of the tips or is it a approximation? Those black chrome M3 tips are only 2.75" dia. They might go well with the base bumper.

The exhaust piping will be done this week I should have it ~18 days after that. Right now I am just trying to find some nice tips.

I havent given up on titanium yet but I will look for a nice looking polished stainless and plated black chrome tip as well.

i think you should just have a longer tip, something that looks more oem because if you have something like the tips you posted above you will see them bend inwards on the side and they will look ... gay

measurements might be off by 1/16 - 1/8. I just ran out real quick. I measured the circumference and did a little geometry ( C =pi(d) ) and got 3.5... I'm sure that someone will correct me if I am wrong.

The M3 ones will probably be great for the base... As for the type-s folks... I guess the search continues.

I hope that I am not being a pain in the ass here... Its just a lot of cash and I want it to look classy, proper, and respectable... but mean as hell

It is a lot of cash, I completely agree with you, and most cases you're replacing a part on your car that isn't broken either.

However, you know what is awesome? Someone that is willing to work with the TL community this much while R&D'ing a product of substantial $$$. Even be it something simple like tips, it's what your going to see most everyday. That to me is worth every penny and someone who get my respect over a "This is it, take it or leave it" alternative.

Is my exhaust worn out? No.

Am I going to buy the RV6 setup? Absofrigginlutely

Just my

I agree. I want a stock look but with more power.

I am ready to put a deposit down if we can get the black chrome tips for the Type-S.

I will get some pics of the new titanium tips. They look good from far away but close up they are

I will try to get some custom rolled tips ordered this week. As for the black chrome will see if someone can do a sample for me.

the second one titanium from lower row going left to right those r okay could have them angled sorta like E39 m5 type possibly....but yeah def black chrome FTW and if you can have an exact replica of the Type-S tips then that would be money...either way keep up the good work Richie, at the end of the day I know you will make the Best desicion

I'm a CAD Engineer so if you need any 3D or 2D drawings on the stock tips I can measure them and give you the exact size. I have a type-s so I'll try to get a rendering together in the next couple of days.

BTW, my vote would be for the black chrome tips in the same size diameter as the stock type-s tips with rolled edges and angle cut (or at least offset) as the stock tips.
