I know 2004 ... but I have the 2006 specs at my finger tips.

3483 Lbs - 345 Lbs = 3138 Lbs

3483 Lbs / 3138 Lbs = 1.10994 Factor

Assuming 250 WHP, then

250 WHP x 1.10994 Factor = 277.5 WHP

277.5 WHP - 250 WHP = 27.5 WHP Increase

But, please remember that this is misleading because you gained everywhere in the powerband, not just peak hp like most engine mods. A fair comparision might be something like a 29 whp increase.

Rule of thumb is 100 lbs is 0.1 second quicker in 1/4 mile. And, 10 HP is 0.1 second quicker.

So by weight, you are approx 0.3 sec quicker in 1/4 mile.

Or by equivalent hp increase, you are 0.3 sec quicker.

So, it jives either way.
oo hmm time to show you guys what i did today

I can't Bore the TB since it will need a new butterfly. Only Maxbore or Kingmotorspot can do that. The IM I can only do the first few inches unless you want to cut the IM in half. There was a big thread about it.

Yummy Teaser

compare to stock... Ewwwwww

I am gasket matching only on the intake side. The side that goes to the head I leave alone since I dont want to have a lip on the head that creates turbulance.

Damn this looks awesome Roost...didn't even know aznboi did PnP, I had to send mine half way across the US.

The pics look good aznboi.

I have to admit, after taking out the spare tire and extra junk that comes with it, I'm wanting to remove those 5-mph bumper protection things.

thanks well try removing the trunk liner that is on the trunk and all liners in the trunk. then maybe on the weekend remove the rear seats takes like 10 mins to remove . im pretty sure removing the reaer seats will have you convinced to do the diet

^^^V3 J-Pipe, PnP, IM & TB spacers...looking to do the UR Pulley in the next few weeks with a hybrid UCM and really want to do PCD/HFPC's but wanna be able to do it myself so I can replace them as needed for the sniffer.

I wish there was some sort of an easily removable insert for the sniffer that would allow us Cali folks to pass but I'm sure I'll eventually talk myself into swapping every two years.

come down to sf on the weekend and ill do the pcds with you that way you can do it yourself next time or we can do it together again. and nice mods i talked myself into doing it every 2 years. the hfpc is what i think 550. pcds 350 save 200 bucks and get a couple more horses only hassle is every 2 years . every year you will be doing it faster and faster anyway lols

Unplug (or block off the port to) the IACV, see if the surging stops. If it does, the IACV is probably dirty. If not, you have a vacuum leak. Id look at the gaskets on that throttle body spacer.

Unless you mean its surging when you turn an accessory on, but you shouldnt have any accessories if youre on a diet

umm i think 2 longer ones would be better maybe 2 18 inches. i think i still have about 8-10 inches to play with if i wanted to for another resonator if not just 2 long ones. but its still pretty loud
