lol...I JUST GOT BACK...geez..............car is going to the shop tomorrow for new spark plugs, tranny cooler, new wheels, and check up.

Going to the drag strip on Friday night. Don't expect any good times tho, it's first time for both me and my car. I doubt I would get any good launch.

Dyno is coming on monday.

has this beast been on a dyno yet? More interested in the numbers than a picture of the car/engine bay (if people would READ the posts, he said it looks like a regular blown TL). Glad you got your car up and running lookinco. Some vids of you at the track would be nice as well. Hmm Friday night at the tracks right...meaning you should have the vids (if taken) up by Saturday morning! Don't disappoint us now lookinco! (how's that for pressure hahaha)

I'm pretty sure it will. Hes running a BBK which I think is bigger than the factory Brembos.

Yes those wheels will clear the stock Brembo and BBK. However make sure you get the size that does.

I have made a few short video clips just to show how my car sounds like. I didn't launch really hard in any of the clips as I had to hold the camera with my hand. All clips were done in Full Automatic mode. I will make a few more video later when I install the camera mount in the car.

So sorry for asking this, but could you recap everything you've done to the car.

I know you've got
3.5L motor with the S/C on an A/T.

Using J32 Block? With MDX internals? and Type-S heads?

I've kept up with and read all 14 pages of this thread, but given all of the issues, changes, random things discussed, and the time period over which it was done, I couldn't tell you everything he has done. I don't think one post with a list of all mods is too much to ask.

I've read pretty much followed this thread the whole time but I just lost track of what he did, not to mention when he did the recap a few pages back it doesn't mention everthing, for example it doesn't mention the S/C.

Ok I've pretty much reviewed the whole thread and this is what I got:

1. 06 RL shortblock
2. 03 CL TypeS piston 10.5:1cr (you could use RL piston with 11.0:1 cr)
3. 07 TL TypeS cylinder head, camshaft, valves, etc
4. Comptech S/C@3.5Psi
5. Dr. Evil Torque Converter
6. 06 TL A/T 5Spd
7. CAI

Not sure if he has an exhaust or pullies, but I think he does.

How did you up the displacement if you used the same sized pistons as the J32? Did you increase bore or stroke?

damn., how hard was it to adapt a CAI to the supercharger...i am thinkin that is a better set up, i might do this, and in the long run it will be easier to clean the filter

The bore is the same but stroke is longer. As for the CAI, there are a few different threads showing you how to make a CAI for the supercharger. It's quite easy.

I have a few more tricks down my sleeve in the weeks and months to come. Stay tuned! ha ha ha *evil laughs*
