blacura currently has every single mod that I have except for a couple of things

I have the vent in the front which "i hate cars" says doesnt yield any gains
he has the outlaw spacer in the thermoblock... I have the p2r
he has 20" staggered (ftl)wheels I have 18x9"...
and currently I have the procats....

our dyno's were pretty identical...

pretty sure he is going to get some lightweight 18" wheels so the theme of the cf hood can really show... I vote for white axis circuits... with a black stripe to match the hood

well hope no one mobs richie with pm's because last I heard these things were in Japan... probably wont get to his hands till monday ....

How much is the ZEX kit for these car? How big of a shot are you starting with? I think the exhaust mods you guys are doing will really compliment the nitrous.

So what will you do with the extra 20-30hp?

Gonna be a different adjustment on the autocross time trials... Cuz now you'll have slightly quicker throttle response... Slide into a cone on the first turn post precat deletes? or you just gonna go balls out and take her around?

I'll be catless/jpipe/test pipe/custom borla catback too!

actually the guy making my exhaust will be making a jpipeback instead of catback so I can sell my jpipe and recoup a lil $$. I'll throw it in the BM soon if anyone wants it.

Well hell I'm glad you said something... Why not wrap the whole things? Are you serious they void the warranty? Why do I constantly get torn between feeling like I know WTF i'm talking about and then suddenly I'm in n00bville, population me?

I got the header wrap off ebay, 2" x fiddy feet, with some stainless ties.

now before anyone says ooooh warranty warranty... I am not talking about the cars warranty... that is not what I am talking about... I am referring to the conditional warranty richie (the seller) has on these, you know the whole mumbo jumbo free from manufacture defect and what not...

the thing about heat wrap is that it physically changes the metal and in worst cases the metal shrinks or even just tares like a leaf... the key is to wrap it correctly... 1/4" overlaps...

I got my pulley on Saturday, was remarkably simple. I have a friend that's a honda tech, I met him at the dealership, put her on the lift, pulled the belt off, hit the old pulley with a 3/8" impact, no luck, hit it with a monster ass 1/2" beast, it came right off. put the new one on, but wasn't able to properly torque it as no one would post up the info on how to remove the "access panel" to see the engine internals and where to put the big screwdriver. he hit it quickly with an impact that's rated at 80-100 ft lbs and everything seems a-ok, i'm a bit worried in the back of my head though about that thing.

All I have left is these precats and my custom exhaust, and I ordered the borla muffs and the vibrant ultra quiet resonator!

question- If I try to quarter mile this thing, should I use the manual shift mode? Or just floor it in auto?

I ran mine into the revlimiter on the dyno and it was still making power at a supposed 7,100rpm. I would learn to manually time the shifts right before the limiter.

Yup time them watch my youtube vid if you need help... The trick is to push the shifter forward as late as possible avoiding the darn delay by making her almost bang redline

Redline bang = loss of power

The access panel should be almost in the center under the engine. It is right where the tranny meets the block, it's held by 1 bolt. It may be a slightly different shade or metal than the rest around it. It's about 6-8" long and 1-2" wide. find where the starter meats the tranny and block, then trace it lower and lower towards the bottom of the engine and bam, it's right there...like I said, should be one bolt. I'd definitely try to go back and tighten it properly, right now you're at about half of how tight it should be. 180ft-lbs.
