Noob questions but I don't care
I've got an '05 TL 3.2 and want to give it a little upgrade. I was wondering which company's cold air intakes are ideal, if there are a couple.

You'll probably find the 3G TL section most helpful; it's at: Third Generation TL (2004-2008) - AcuraZine Community.
Check the Performance Parts and Mods subforum in 3G TL.
Consensus is that the factory intake box setup is the best/most efficient.
CAI options make intake a bit louder and might be useful from a butt-dyno perspective.

for $250 an aftermarket intake only adds like 3hp, if that.
the stock system is a cold air induction system and is engineered straight from Honda to bring in cooler air.
if all you're wanting is sound, it's still waste of money at $250 when you can delete the resonator for free.

This BS again?
Yes, spending $250 on a CAI that gains 3hp, or 5hp, or 10hp (whichever you believe) isn't worth it. But spending $1,000 on an exhaust that gets you 10hp is totally worth it, just for noise.
The factory CAI is so awesome we don't need anything else. In fact, CAIs do absolutely nothing for you. So much so that Acura designing a factory CAI was a total waste of time and money. In fact, you don't even need an air intake system. Just plug up the hole and save yourself money on useless air filters.

Yup
If only noobs would search and read a little bit before posting "hey guys can you do my homework" that would be awesome...wishful thinking I know
How is he supposed to know what you like or what you consider loud, quiet, good sound or bad sound?...search in YouTube for diff setups so you can hear it, and make sure you use headphones or good speakers. From what you say, sounds like you're on the right track, but only you will know. Come out t a local meet to hear diff members' cars, that always helps.
