^^^ Tim another thing you need to check (which i think you missed) was the springs....
I dont remember what springs Sunny got but if he got the comfort springs he can be at 8 with a little stiff ride and if he would have gotten the track, i think he would be sitting at 20 with a harsh ride.....
also we do not know where his preload is set too....so i think its a little early to debate on that topic.....
but yeah getting the top hats wrong is

^ I disagree. The damping should have the ability to still produce a super firm ride even with the softer springs. This is why I am hesitant to recommend the ISC. Whereas my BC Racing coilovers give me the strong impression that I have frame flex when I set the damping to the highest setting. I keep the damping at the 3rd setting away from maximum damping because I really do think I am getting frame flex (bowing) along the mid section (from front to rear) of the car. This should tell you how firm I am talking about.
And, please let's not get me started with that "preload" term. This is a very misunderstood and misused term on the internet. Suffice it to say that "preload" [sic] will not alter the spring rate and firmness of the suspension.

Before this gets too far out of hand, I ask that folks wait for my post regarding suspension for the TL Diet. I am writing it now. I expect the post to be ready in a day or two.
Hint = TL Diet suspension is NOT the same thing as the ideal suspension for a track car.

I drove with out my back seat last night.
the sound of the PCD's are more prevalent.
I didnt get a chance to take any one on, but at stop lights I'm the first one out of the hole. WOT for the winn!
I still cannot adjust the left rear shock. its stuck and wont turn either way. but I did adjust the two fronts and the right rear.
I love the turn in.
my steering is way more responsive.
I have to work on the left rear shock, now.

^for the time being, yes.
it took me a whole 10 mins to take the seat out.
and I'm expecting a similar time putting them back in.
she's not a daily driver. she stays in the garage most days.
and when I do drive, its a short 15-20 min. drive to the office.
the only time, I'll need the back seats are on the weekend.
butt, I have found that i just stay home and dont really go out on the weekends.

Well the two bolts that are behind the headrests are a bitch if you don't put them on the frame then put the backs of the seats on them.
But that single lower bolt on the bottom half...phew...that's a bitch no matter what you do. I found it's best to put the bolt in the U looking thing first, keep pressure on it with your socket, get that lined up, then let the front clips snap.
How do you do it?

On the lower portion of the rear seat, I have one of the 2 plastic clips at the front (under your knee) broken...and I never put the upper middle bolt for the bottom back in...been 3 years now and never been an issue with people sitting back there or not. It never moves. I'd leave it out...it takes just as long to get that bolt in/out as it does to take everything else out!

^This is true. However, I developed a slight creaking/grinding/rattle when that bolt wasn't on. Metal on metal. Just sayin'...

^not worth the trouble.
I believe the 04's and 05s were the "true sport ones"
I believe both you(Rocketscientist143) and southernboy cite the brochure.
the 06's get a power cut at full throttle to combat torque steer.
also the implementation of tpms
also, the wiring is different. Thats why Rodney has to make custom harnesses for each year. I believe.

^^^ Justn is right....the ECU swap can be only between certain model years....
i think the 07 and 08 Base and Type S can swap ECU's but not the MT and AT....gotta be the same tranny.....
similarly 04-05 can do the same....i think the 06 was a sore single !!!
