J36 is done

hey whats up to all . just got my car back from a awesome honda engine builder out here in va. he stroked my 3.2 to a 3.6. he even hooked me up w a sweet powdercoating job. motor has about 50 miles on it so its in the breaking in stage. so we will be placing the blower back on after it hits about 2500 miles. then its off to the dyno to get dynoed and tuned. u can feel the difference in torque just driving i cant wait to open it up.so if anyone would like to get a good engine guru to mess with ur car i got the guy for you he is local in va .

whoa, those numbers are good. I'm curious as far as reliability is concerned, however.

Definetely post up some dyno numbers after break in, n/a and forced induction.

I read a lot about the mastermind behind the builds he has done for many ppl. He's on v6 pee. Very knowledgeable guy. You are lucky to have someone local that is talented as him.

Come to Cali and go back home so you'll get closer to the 2500 miles so we can get a dyno w/ the blower.

Ok, the 308WHP/280WTQ was on a NA 7th gen AV6 6sp that I build exactly the same about 2 months ago and he just got borke in and tunned with the FIC. He will be getting one of my M90SC kits as soon as I am done prototyping it.

I have had an account on here for a couple years, I just don't come on here much since I only own a loley 7th gen AV6 and tend to get flammed.

Here are some pics from the build. The dealership that did the previous J32 install left lose/out some important bolts as well as JBWelded the egr port on his intake runner he broke. The grey sludge in the bottom of the oil pan is finely ground aluminum from the piston that also destroyed the oil pump.

CP pistons and Paulter rods ordered on Thursday, about 4 weeks lead time on them. I am also working with a disti to bundle all the parts together including the sleeves to crank these built for boost blocks out.

Been there, done that with a CL-S, not really any diff for a 3rd gen TL, but without sleeving you will be NA only.

is that worth the money?! geez. I mean I have a manual but you'd think you could throw on a blower for that much!
